We came together in recognition of National Donate Life Month. 💙
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our flag-raising ceremony to increase awareness about the importance of organ donation, honor donors and recipients, and recognize the healthcare professionals who make lifesaving transplants possible.
One donor can save up to 8 lives — and moments like these remind us how powerful that gift can be.

Six Lakeland Regional Health Internal Medicine residents are taking their research to the national stage! 👏
Selected to present at the 2026 American College of Cardiology Scientific Sessions, these residents — mentored by faculty from LRH’s Cardiology Fellowship Program — are helping advance evidence-based care and clinical excellence.
Representing LRH were Dr. Padideh Daneii, Dr. Sangho Hyun, Dr. Chia-Hung (Leo) Sze, Dr. Juan Rivera-Martinez, Dr. Juan Oscar Rodriguez Padilla, and Dr. Jennifer Trube, alongside Cardiology Fellowship Program Director Dr. Joel Fernandez.
“Academic work strengthens evidence-based practice, sharpens clinical reasoning, and builds a culture of continuous improvement—supporting safer care and stronger outcomes,” said Dr. Fernandez.
LRH’s Cardiology Fellowship Program is gaining momentum and ready to welcome its first fellows this summer.
