🌟 ALUMNI HIGHLIGHT: RAY SILVA 🌟

During his time in Belize, Ray Silva made an unforgettable impact, not just through medical service, but through genuine human connection. 💛

Across the villages, Ray helped check vital signs like blood pressure, glucose levels, heart rate, and respiratory rate, providing care with compassion and attentiveness.

He brought warmth and joy into every moment, playing with local children, teaching them how to make friendship bracelets, and embracing the culture with an open heart. He took time to listen, learn, and connect, forming long-lasting friendships with both the villagers and his team.

Meet Dr. Sonia Okolo — a compassionate clinician, educator, and global health advocate. During her time serving with GHI in Belize, she helped deliver critical care to underserved communities, provided essential medical supplies, and even assisted in fitting community members with free prosthetics, restoring both mobility and hope. 🩺✨
