5 Let those who plant with tears
reap the harvest with joyful shouts.
6 Let those who go out,
crying and carrying their seed,
come home with joyful shouts,
carrying bales of grain!

About Beauty for Ashes
Group Starts on July 1, 6-7:30pm in C-201C

Beauty for Ashes is a creative exploration of the new life we find in Christ.

Drawing from Isaiah 61:30, group members are invited to create alongside Ron Bell and friends while discussing and exploring a scripture together.

Use our art supplies or bring your own.

Class is week-by-week so you won’t be behind if you’re unable to come every week.

Art is an immensely powerful tool to battle life’s hurts and obstacles. Please join us as we seek to find beauty from ashes.

Encouraging ourselves and others to start getting creative in the word. That's what Beauty for Ashes Art Ministry is all about, getting at peace with yourself and your creator in a calming, safe environment where you can create and share your thoughts with others or with God.
I am going to try to set the example and I decided today to paint this watercolor that coincides with the scripture upon which this art ministry is named.

‭Isaiah 61:3 CEB‬
[3] to provide for Zion’s mourners, to give them a crown in place of ashes, oil of joy in place of mourning, a mantle of praise in place of discouragement. They will be called Oaks of Righteousness, planted by the LORD to glorify himself.
