It was a hard decision but I’m closing my business and moving on! I got a job in public service, as most of you know, I’ve had a career in nonprofits and the public sector. Working for the San Diego County Sheriff wasn’t in my plan but it still aligns.

The pillars of health I’ve posted about are still relevant and I stand by them:

High-protein green chilaquiles 🥰

One of my favorite breakfasts that I forget about too much 😫

1. Fry up 10 corn tortillas cut 3x across into chip sizes and set aside
2. Heat a whole 16-20oz bottle of salsa in a pan (throw in some shredded chicken or diced ham for extra protein, not traditional) or make your own salsa
3. Mix the tortillas into the salsa
4. Fry an egg for the top
5. Garnish with cheese or onions if desired
6. Serve with beans for extra fiber, protein and minerals

If you like spicy but you’re not sure it will sit with you, take some digestive enzymes beforehand or have papaya before or after to help! 😉

This video came up again and it’s such a good reminder that feelings of love, family, togetherness is beneficial for your health. This is why dogs and kids help the elderly when they visit nursing homes and even why dog therapy is a thing!

If you can’t find exercise that you enjoy, find a way to get some oxytocin going through your system!

I read this the other day on ‘s post the other day and it resonated so deeply that I just have to share.

I struggled with this too for a long time. As a gymnast and a runner, looking good in a leotard was important. I remember once when a friend commented that I couldn’t possibly weigh 130 lbs when I was skinnier than her. But I did and I was confused too.

It took a few years of reflecting on that and learning the human body and my own personal nutrition. This is why I have clients track how they feel. Because if you’re loosing weight but anxious, tired, sore or sick, it’s not achieving the end result I want for them. Which is health and vitality - getting through their days with energy and mindfulness - not dragging through parenting or work.

So if you are following for only weight loss and that look, here is your permission to unfollow. 🙏🏽
