What do postpartum doulas do?

Offer emotional and physical support.

Assist with breastfeeding and bottle feeding.

Take care of the newborns needs so Mother has time to rest and self care.

Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, sweeping)

Offer resources and information in regards to postpartum care.

We are your fairy god mother, to help you recover from the tremendous journey you have been on.

It takes a village. And that village can make a world of difference.

Great News! TriCare to cover Doulas and Lactation consultants as of 2022.
Hopefully more insurance companies will follow.
Postpartum Care is just as important as Prenatal care.

The new pilot program to measure the health outcomes for patients who use these services will start in the U.S. next year and in 2025 overseas.
