I’ll never understand why some workplaces choose to do this…

No one’s saying that hiring new people isn’t important, but understanding why great employees keep leaving is even more important.

But there’s no point spending time focusing on brining in new people, when they’ll probably end up leaving soon too.

The role might drain you some days, but the right coworkers can make any job feel doable…

They’re the ones who crack a joke at exactly the right moment, check in when you’re overwhelmed, and quietly step in when you need backup. The workload doesn’t magically shrink, but it feels easier to get through when you know you’re not carrying that workload alone.

I miss the random conversations, the shared looks when something ridiculous happened, the laughter and just knowing someone understood the day exactly the way I did…

Sure, I don’t miss the deadlines or the stress, but work hasn’t quite felt the same since.
