Member Spotlight: Eaton Senior Communities

The beginning of October is Active Aging Week and we are honoring our member, Eaton Senior Communities at 333 S. Eaton St, providing an affordable environment that empowers residents to live to their fullest potential. Eaton's commitment to "full potential" means Active Aging Week activities emphasize lifelong learning and social connection.

This includes programming such as intergenerational programs, classes to promote cognitive health, and creative arts workshops like painting and gardening. By making these programs free and accessible, Eaton not only lives up to its mission of health equity but also demonstrates why it has earned accolades like the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Award for Health Equity and ensuring every senior has the opportunity to explore, connect, and celebrate a positive, active approach to aging.

Our team gathered last week for our 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off! Staff brought a variety of delicious homemade chili recipes, and everyone had the chance to taste and vote for their favorite. A big thank you to all who joined in the fun, and congrats to our winners!
