Using a rainbow Lycra swing, Kristin (OT) is providing deep pressure (proprioceptive) and vestibular input to support regulation and help the child achieve an optimal arousal state for engagement.

Within this suspended position, the child is actively working on postural control, core activation, and body awareness, while simultaneously engaging in a structured play task (Head Bandz), targeting visual attention, motor planning (praxis), and cognitive processing.

By layering sensory input with functional tasks, this session supports the childā€™s ability to attend, organize, and respond to environmental demands, all through meaningful, play-based intervention.
