How are you all? I am thinking of you all as you navigate through this festive season. I wrote a short creative visualisation a while ago and I thought I would share it today as a little gift of reflection during this busy time. Hello, how are you all?

September is upon us and I am very aware of how different everything feels already as I transition to a new routine!

My view out of my window is a bit damp and grey today, a big contrast to how I remember my view being during August. I have enjoyed the dry and bright view over the last few weeks and, as always, the longer days.

As the nights draw in and the view becomes more autumnal I am wondering how to embrace this change of season and look after myself in a responsive and compassionate way.

I feel a new creative visualisation about this brewing ... watch this space and I will share it when it is finished.

Creative Visualisations: Finding Calm & Confidence

Hello everyone!

Many of you saw my recent post about creative visualisations, and as promised, I’m back with more info.

Creative visualisation is a relaxation technique combining grounding and imagination to help you navigate life feeling calmer and more present.

Grounding means connecting with yourself in the moment—through gentle breathing and tuning into your body. It calms your nervous system and helps keep you anchored in the “now,” instead of worrying about the future or getting stuck in the past.

With everything going on, it’s easy to lose touch with that present-moment awareness. Like any skill, grounding takes practice—but it’s a powerful way to care for ourselves and prevent overwhelm.
I’ve written several creative visualisations for different situations, and I’ll be sharing them here regularly.

Coming next week: A gentle 15-minute visualisation to help you navigate the changes in routine during the school summer holidays.

In this calming practice, we’ll:

Hello, I hope that everyone is well. I am just popping on this evening to share about something that I have been working on lately. I have been writing creative visualisations to help support people with different challenging situations. I have recently written one about navigating the change of routine in the summer holidays. I am going to share it on here soon but watch out for a post or two this week that will help explain this process.

Hello,

One of the services that I offer is baby massage ...

I offer classes on a one to one basis or in small groups either face to face at your home or community setting or through zoom.

Baby massage is a relaxing way to spend quality time with your baby and to get to know them better as you explore positive touch together.

One course participant said: 'My baby and I have just completed a 4 week baby massage course with Debbie. It was lovely to learn all the different techniques with songs and have that quality uninterrupted time with my baby. He always sleeps better after a massage!😌'
