💵Health really is wealth.

When you feel good in your body, everything else gets easier. You think clearer, move with more energy, and show up better for the people who matter most. This isn’t about chasing perfection or following extreme rules. It’s about building simple, daily habits that support your body so it can do what it’s meant to do.

💪🏼Investing in your health now pays you back in energy, confidence, and freedom later. That’s a return worth showing up for.

Good Saturday morning. Waking up to a pretty snowfall. ❄️

🏀 We’re up and moving, getting ready to cheer on my oldest at his basketball games, then settling in for a little weekend reset with some tidying up and catching up from the busy week and watching the Packers game.

However your Saturday looks, full schedules, quiet moments, getting things done, or simply resting, make space to enjoy it in a way that supports you. Wishing you a balanced, feel-good Saturday.

What are your plans for today?👇🏻

I’m sure you’ve heard by now, the government finally refined our food pyramid and the updated food pyramid is a big step forward and here’s why it matters.

For years, nutrition advice felt complicated and disconnected from real life. The newer model shifts the focus away from obsessing over single nutrients and back to what actually works: building meals around real, whole foods and balance, oh, and our macronutrients (which I cover in the 28-Day Total Body Reset Program 😉).

Instead of labeling foods as “good” or “bad,” it emphasizes:
• Filling half your plate with fruits and vegetables
• Prioritizing enough quality protein
• Choosing real whole grains as opposed to refined ones
• Including healthy fats without fear (becaue belive it or not, your body significantly needs these)

What this really means is simplicity. Eating well doesn’t require extremes or perfection. It requires structure that supports your body consistently.

(I was a little thrown off by the clip art in the USDA image, so I readjusted it a bit 🤪)

Oh my gosh, we can see the sun rise!☀️

After weeks of clouds and fog, that first peek of sun just hits different. It’s wild how much our mood, energy, and motivation shift when the light comes back. Everything feels a little lighter. A little more hopeful.

If you’ve felt sluggish or off lately, you’re not imagining it. Less sunlight can mess with sleep, hormones, and even cravings. So when it shows up again, it’s like your body takes a deep breath.

Here’s your reminder to step outside today if you can. Let the light hit your face. Take a short walk. Open the blinds. Small things, but they matter more than we think. (Catch the sun before it rains today 🫣)

Here’s to clearer skies and a little rise in all of us.

🌿 28-Day Total Body Reset Reminder 🌿

This reset is designed to support how your body actually functions. Small, consistent habits help regulate blood sugar, reduce unnecessary metabolic stress, and allow your body to use energy more efficiently.

Hydration supports digestion, hormone signaling, and appetite regulation. Reducing added sugars and liquid calories helps stabilize insulin and cravings. Choosing whole foods provides the nutrients your cells need for repair and energy production. Gentle, consistent movement improves circulation and blood sugar response.

The body responds best to consistency, not extremes.

If you’ve had an off day, that doesn’t undo your progress. Simply return to today’s habit and keep going. Every supportive choice helps reinforce the foundation you’re building.

Stay focused, stay consistent, and trust that these small actions are working in your favor.

🥗If You would like live support, I’m hosting a LIVE, 28-Day Total Body Reset, in correspondence with the program starting January 12, a guided program designed to help you reset your habits, support your metabolism, and start the new year feeling clear, energized, and confident. You’ll have guidance, motivation, and check-ins throughout the 28 days and a platform where you can ask questions. If you would like this option added to the full program, just add the Live Community to your cart when promoted after selecting “Complete Purchase.”

This is an educational online program full of informative information for success.

If you’re ready for a reset, this program is for you.

👉 Spots are limited for the Live Community and this portion begins January 12.

If you don’t want the live support, you can still complete the program on your own time. 😊

Good morning ☀️
Friendly reminder: life’s still happening between emails, errands, and reheated coffee. Take a minute. Enjoy it. Then carry on like the capable human you are. 😌

💪🏼Showing up for yourself doesn’t have to be loud or perfect.

It can look like pressing play on a workout when your energy is low.
Choosing to move your body instead of scrolling.
Doing what you said you would do, even when no one else sees it.

✨This week, your workout isn’t about punishment or earning food.
It’s a check-in. A reminder that your body deserves care, strength, and consistency.

So ask yourself today:
How am I choosing to show up for me? Let me know in the comments! 👇🏻

🧘🏻‍♀️Sunday has a different kind of energy.

It’s the pause between what was and what’s coming. A natural reset. That’s why Sunday is such a good day for yoga.

✨Yoga on Sundays isn’t about pushing or perfecting anything. It’s about slowing your breath, loosening what the week tightened, and giving your nervous system a chance to exhale. Even a short, gentle practice can help release built-up tension, improve mobility, and bring your mind back into your body.

Think of it as preparation, not productivity. You’re setting the tone for the week ahead by choosing presence over pressure. Stretch what feels stiff. Breathe where you’ve been holding. Move in a way that feels supportive instead of demanding.

A Sunday yoga practice reminds you that rest can be intentional, and movement can be calm. You don’t need a long class or a perfect setup. Just a few minutes on your mat can make the week ahead feel more grounded, steady, and clear.

🫣If blood sugar feels like a roller coaster here are 5 simple ways to support steadier blood sugar:

🍭• Remove added sugars – they spike blood sugar quickly and keep cravings loud
🍪• Pass on processed foods – they digest fast, leaving you hungry and tired again soon after
🥦• Choose carbs wisely – fiber-rich carbs digest slower and help prevent sharp spikes
🥗• Bump up fiber intake – fiber slows glucose absorption and supports gut health
🥩• Prioritize protein – protein stabilizes blood sugar and keeps you fuller longer

🙂These aren’t rules. They’re foundations.
When blood sugar is supported, energy improves, cravings calm down, and meals start working for you instead of against you.

For more in-depth support, The 28-Day Reset gives you simple, step-by-step guidance to help you apply these habits without overthinking. It’s realistic, supportive, and designed to help your body reset in a way that actually sticks.

✨The food you eat can either be the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison.

That doesn’t mean food has to be perfect. It means it should support your body, not constantly work against it.

🥗When meals are built around real, whole foods, balanced portions, and consistency, your body gets the signal that it’s safe. Energy improves. Cravings quiet down. Decisions feel easier.

Small choices, repeated daily, change everything.
