High Desert Counseling Services

Been awhile since I have posted on this page. The agency is gonna have some revamping done and modifications. Currently not accepting new clients but feel free to private message the page if anyone would like some words of encouragement or empowerment. Like I have mentioned in the past that HDCS is a not for profit agency so that being said means there is a need for helping others but there is not enough funding for me to pay the bills at a facility. I always wanted to provide counseling to people who can't pay cause I have that experience in my story of sobriety. So I will be down sizing and limiting in office counseling immediately. Sad cause I haven't been able to devote all my time there cause of medical issues and it was not able to sustain itself without me. The good news is that this is an open door to other adventures and community support services I have planned for the future of High Desert Counseling Services which also under go a name change soon. HDCS is proud to announce it will be attending the AVPRIDE 2014 being held at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds. HDCS will have a booth and be there to provide support services and counseling resources for the LGBTQ community. This is a matter of providing services to the community and respecting all the populations this community has, which is quite diverse. We Encourage everyone to come out and support the Pride Event...

HDCS has been doing well and trying to get donations up to contribute to local charities and events. There are upcoming events such as Thunder on the Lot that raises funds for children of the antelope valley. Please help support this event that helps the kids of the antelope valley.

Here's and update: the agency is doing good, things r still slow and taking things one day at a time. Got a certified domestic violence counselor on board for court order DV classes. Doing court ordered anger management and substance abuse individual counseling, plus we got therapist on staff. I even have a hyptotherapist specializing in smoking cessation and other trauma related counseling. Call for appointment. Thanx. Jesse

Heres an update: All s going good at HDCS, still working on the red tape and a few other things but up and running, business as usual here... My domestic violence guy is taking court referrals now and we have the victims suppoort group every thursday night at 530pm. Counseling is individualized for a more personal level of care and I have four staff mmembers on hand including hypnosis. Spead the word for anyone wanting or needing court appointed services or dcfs services for counseling... Thanx

So all is going good still here at HDCS, working on getting up and functioning but for now just taking one thing at a time...I appreciate all the likes so far and look forward to getting more and doing good in the community... Thanx... have a great day...

Looking for anyone who has knowledge of how to obtain funding and grants.. Also looking to find atlernative means of getting supplies and some volunteers for the agency that can help with office tasks... thanx
