Raising awareness encourages help-seeking, and promotes education on warning signs. Did you know that August is National Wellness Month ? What is National Wellness Month ?

National Wellness Month helps promote the importance of self care. Whether it be physical, emotional, mental or social. Here are ways you can help yourself during this month ⬇️

- giving back to your community (social)
- practicing self care whether its making healthier food choices or doing something that makes you feel good (emotional)
- seek professional help if needed if you’re going through stressful and difficult times (mental)
- exercising and getting enough sleep (physical)

This is an important opportunity to raise awareness about mental health and encouraging people to seek support if needed.

Our amazing counselors were proud to be out at Antelope Valley College today doing what we do best — connecting with our community and raising awareness about harm reduction and Narcan (Naloxone) distribution. 💉❤️
We’re honored to be part of such an impactful event alongside our incredible partners at Take Action LA, the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, and CalMHSA. Together, we’re working to save lives, reduce stigma, and promote compassionate care for those affected by substance use.
💪 We truly have the best team, and we’re just getting started.
