We are here to compassionately guide you through progressive illness and end-of-life using a holistic model of care.

Anam Cara Caregiving provides custom care near the end of life, offering caregiving support and bedside care at any stage of aging and dying so residents of Fremont County have the option to stay at home as the need for assistance increases over time. ANAM CARA
is a Gaelic phrase which loosely
translates as ‘Soul friend.’

Please also help us welcome Sarah Hamlin to our Board of Directors. Sarah first came to Lander in 2006 excited about starting a job at the NOLS and a love for the mountains. After many years in many roles, Sarah moved on to a position with the state offering business advising services to Wyoming small businesses through the Wyoming SBDC. It was here that Sarah developed her interest in local economic development and the services it takes to keep our rural communities vibrant and connected. This world is a better place with you in it. Your joy, love, honesty, tenderness, and deep commitment to our elders make us all better. I’ve never met a single person with a sharp thing to say about you. When your name comes up in conversation, there are smiles, fond stories, and endless praise.

My wish for you on your birthday is that you receive the same love, care, and pampering you so freely give to others every day. You deserve it all.

Happy Birthday Angie!

Let’s be honest: Angie Teeples is the one running the show.

She’s our behind-the-scenes magic, the human who somehow blends a full (and overwhelming) rainbow Google Calendar with the hearts, needs, and wishes of 30+ clients and 40+ caregivers. She does it with a smile, a wildly compassionate heart, and a “let’s make everyone feel connected” mindset.

While most never see it, Angie is quietly holding the most stressful, foundational part of what we do: the schedule, the calendar, the logistics—the heartbeat of care. I knew I wanted Angie on my team the moment I met her, and every day since has proven why. We love you, Angie. Thanks for all you hold (logistics and deep connection) with our entire Anam Cara Family.
