RP Who did it? VIRGINIA did it! After two years of demanding to repeal the prohibtion of simple posession and legalize ma*****na, on July 1, 2021 it becomes our reality. No longer a seemingly pipe dream. Virginia is the first in the South to vote to legalize ma*****na and we are so proud to be part of this our journey!

This calls for a celebration! The people made this happen!

Jean Edrada is a community organizer, educator, certified Yoga practitioner, cannabis advocate and the Executive Director of Movement and Medicine. Serving and impacting communities across different ages, backgrounds and communities in Chicagoland, the Bay area and Los Angeles for 10+ years, Jean understands the importance of a resilient body, mind and spirit. She is a proud Board Member of the and a Founding Member of and , Her work provides trauma-informed explorations of movement and meditation integrated with a therapeutic relationship with plant medicine, specifically with cannabis. From her lived experience, Jean has learned the importance of cultivating and maintaining a healthy and whole-y mind, body and spirit. She envisions a world in which people of different colors, shapes, sizes, abilities, challenges, conditions and expressions of life have equitable access to resources and spaces for healing.
