After suffering a major injury that left him in braces and on crutches, Lee was determined to make a full recovery. It took him about a year to be able to jog again and two years to be able to dunk a basketball! Even though he will never be the same person he was before the injury, he's learned how to train smarter and be more aware of his body.
Here are three things that helped Lee during his recovery:
The gym environment - Surround yourself with people who are working towards a common goal of bettering themselves. This will help with your confidence and keep you out of the dumps.
Be patient - Recovery takes time and there will be setbacks.
Don't give up - Believe in yourself and keep pushing forward.
