Abm Commercial cleaning is hiring for a custodial supervisor. This is a night position after 5pm. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive to multiple locations. We have a family atmosphere and must be a team player. There is an opportunity for advancements and pay raises as well as bonuses for job well done. Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Custodian to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custodial services, with expertise in commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance. This role is crucial in ensuring that our environment is safe, clean, and welcoming for all staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily custodial activities to ensure high standards of cleanliness across all areas.
Perform commercial cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, buffing floors, and sanitizing surfaces.
Manage custodial staff, providing training and support to ensure effective performance and adherence to safety protocols.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order replacements as necessary.
Coordinate with external vendors for specialized cleaning services or repairs when needed.
Maintain records of cleaning schedules, maintenance requests, and inventory logs.
Qualifications

Proven experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment.
Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining a clean environment.

Abm Commercial cleaning and Frisch Window Cleaning, LLC partnered on a post construction clean up at Arby’s. They did a wonderful job to make dust filled windows look new again. We didn’t get any pictures due to time constraints. Thank you to Jess Madden for the help. The building looks like brand new.
