To do a HIIT workouts properly, you have to achieve the first i in HiiT which is intensity!
Us humans are like water. It’s in our nature to take the path of least resistance.
For HIIT to be effective, you have to achieve maximum effort and workload output.
That’s why I love to hate the Air Dyne bike. 15 seconds of all out effort with a minute and 45 seconds rest. Repeat for 3-5 rounds once every 10 days.
I use the Myzone heart rate monitor to ensure I’m achieving 90%+ of my max heart rate.
