www.AWHealth.org/donate Health care providers found with expired product in their facility may face fines and/or accreditation loss due to FDA standards. To mitigate these liabilities, medical product is often discarded with months, sometimes years, left to expiration. According to the EPA, the US healthcare industry generates over 8.1 billion pounds of medical waste each year; up to 60% is still-usable product. This waste is often buried in landfills, potentially emitting environmentally toxic pollutants.

Experience in a warehouse environment is encouraged, but we will train the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities:
● Carry out regular pickups for local hospital partners
● Coordinate scheduling with hospital contacts
● Communicate with Development Director to ensure compliance
● Fill out all trucking logs detailing the contents of pickups
● At times, assist with relocating materials in warehouse and preparing outgoing
shipments
● Reports directly to the Development Director
