Late last year, members of the Bent County Ambulance Service and the Bent County Sheriff’s Office responded to a critical life-saving call. Thanks to the seamless coordination and quick actions of everyone involved, the patient was stabilized and successfully transferred to hospital care.

In recognition of these heroic efforts, the Bent County Ambulance Service has presented the Life Saving Award to the following personnel:

HELP! Our supply of stuffed animals and toys, relied upon by patients of all ages (0-101+), is getting critically low. 😟
These items can provide patients a mental diversion, calm nervous hands, stimulate conversation, or become a new friend at a time when they feel alone.
We are grateful for donations of clean, new or gently used stuffed animals and toys, which our patients appreciate as a distraction 🤗

It’s never too soon to teach kids first aid and CPR! Giving children the skills to respond in an emergency builds confidence, responsibility, and awareness that can last a lifetime. Even simple lessons—like how to call 911, check for breathing, or apply a bandage—can make a real difference. Empowering kids early helps create a generation that’s ready to help when it matters most.
