Good Day JOHC Family! We need your help!!!
Nurses, NPs, and Families of Nurses and NPs.....please sign this Petition to help prevent the government from making nursing degrees of all kinds, a non professional degree.
We ARE PROFESSIONALS.
This is not a trade work and our mandated state studies, credentialing and licensure...does not reflect such! Many of us put in 6 to 8 years of schooling for graduate and terminal degrees!
Without nurses, this country would go to ISH.
And we need to have student loan amounts reflect the blood sweat and tears we put in, in our higher education, but also our community once we come out.
We know the wage gap in the nursing profession compared to others, is huge.
They definitely dont pay us what we deserve once out of school.
And many of us have 2 or 3 jobs minimum!
Now they dont want to allow us to get the student loans we need for our education by dialing back our status!
This affects our future nurses, NPs and this same group, going back to get Graduated level and terminal degrees to help bridge an already huge gap in patient care and Healthcare.
The Government thinks the Nurses and our Associations that represent us, are weak.
They think we have no power or no voice!
This is a direct attack on women at the policy level. . Because we make up 90% of this profession.
