As of the Spring Equinox, we reached more than 20% towards our minimum goal target! Getting closer to gifting at least 5 therapy sessions for an individual in need 🙏🏼✨
Here are our community guidelines that we returned to during the practice. As participants settled into shavasana, I played a Tibetan singing bowl (tuned to the note F) over their heart chakra. I shared my favorite ritual oil and herbal snacks — Blue Lotus Moringa, Da Zao (jujubes), Hu Tao Ren (walnuts), and Gou Qi Zi (wolfberry fruit or goji berries) as we held space for closing reflections.
Blue Lotus has roots in ancient Egyptian culture. It is associated with the cycle of death and rebirth — the beginning of light. Da Zao in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is known for ‘nourishing the blood’ and ‘calming the spirit.’ As an adaptogenic herb, it promotes emotional balance and stress management (beneficial for menstrual cycles and postpartum recovery). Hu Tao Ren ‘strengthens the sinews/bones’ and ‘replenishes Jing or Essence’ (supportive for virility). I think of jujubes and walnuts as a balance between Yin and Yang principles ☯️ Gou Qi Zi ‘moistens the lungs’ and maintains energy/vitality (great for heart health and athletic performance).
To maintain privacy, faces are covered and group photos are sent to each participant. Please share in the way that helps you feel most secure 🌻
