POV: when the photographer says βjust arch your back a little moreβ¦β π
Look β not every male photographer is creepy. But letβs be honestβ¦ some posing directions just hit different depending on whoβs saying them.
One of the biggest things I hear from women, especially first-time models, is that they feel way more relaxed shooting with another woman. No weird tension, no second guessing poses, no wondering if you look awkward β just good energy and someone who actually understands what it feels like to be in front of the camera.
Half the time Iβm basically just hyping you up like:
βYES GIRL POP THAT HIP.β
βOKAY CONFIDENCE.β
βWE LOVE A STRONG JAWLINE.β
Because the goal isnβt to make you feel exposedβ¦ itβs to make you feel powerful.
So if youβre someone whoβs been nervous to book a shoot because you think youβre βnot photogenicβ or youβve never modeled before β trust me, thatβs literally my favorite kind of client.
Weβre not here to make it weird.
Weβre here to make you feel like a damn magazine cover. π₯
