🌟 Provider Spotlight: Vikas Lahar, MD 🌟 We would like to shine a light on Dr. Vikas Lahar, he is a board-certified Internist who blends a strong passion for science with a compassionate, human-centered approach to care. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Norwalk Hospital, a Yale University affiliate, where he also served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Lahar believes great medicine is about more than science—it’s about truly connecting with patients. He welcomes patients ages 18 and up and is committed to providing thoughtful, personalized care.

On Friday, our Astrana Health team had the privilege of volunteering with the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation—and what an incredible experience it was! Together, we helped distribute over 400 pairs of shoes to children in need, ensuring they have the comfort and confidence to step into the future.

Giving back to our community is at the heart of what we do, and we’re proud to support organizations that make a real difference. A huge thank you to Goodie Two Shoes for allowing us to be part of this amazing mission!

Meet Dr. Aishwarya Vyas-Lahar! She’s not just an internal medicine physician—she’s a wellness enthusiast who brings compassion and expertise to every patient she sees.

Originally from India and now proud to call Las Vegas home, Dr. Vyas-Lahar earned her MD from the American University of Antigua in 2016 and completed her residency at the Norwalk-Yale University program in Connecticut during the height of the pandemic. Her dedication to patients even earned her special recognition as a primary care physician!

Meet Loan Tong, a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner at AstranaCare Southern Hills in Las Vegas! Originally from Vietnam, Loan immigrated to Nebraska with her family in 1996. Her journey in healthcare began early—serving as a translator for her family during medical visits, sparking a lifelong passion for helping others.

Loan earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and spent over a decade as a dedicated Registered Nurse. In 2023, she advanced her career by completing her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

She is proud to serve patients ages 18 and up, helping them lead healthier lives with empathy and expertise.
