Hi hi! My name is Andrea.
I was born in Colorado and moved all over the country, but I say that I really grew up in the creeks of Alabama and forests of Oregon.
I love the outdoors and I think all the moving gave me my love for travel and adventure. One of my biggest adventures was walking with lions and swimming on top of Victoria Falls in Africa! 🦁🐘
As for my next big adventure, I get to marry my best friend and the coolest guy ever next year! Together we share a 10 year old furbaby named Shutter, who's the sweetest biggest baby in the room most of the time. The rest of my family is very large and getting to be Auntie (or Deedee) to so many littles is one of my biggest roles and blessings.
I'm a huge theatre geek, you should see the one-man show I put on to Hamilton in my car...
I enjoy genuine, honest connection and could talk for hours about what makes a person light up.✨ Seeing people get excited about things is one of my favorite sights in the whole wide world!
If you want to get REALLY personal with me my favorite colors are purple and cyan (which is pretty easy to catch on to if you look at almost anything we own💜💙) and October through December is my absolute favorite time of year. I look forward all year to the second the decorations come out on October 1st.😅🍁🍂🧣
Professionally:
I'm a trained through Birth Arts International and trained through Women's Choice Perinatal. My doula journey began in 2020. I had always been around babies, seen my loved ones go through and admired the process but the doula seed was planted after getting to be more directly involved with one of my niece's entrances into the world. I fell in love with the strength, the ebb and flow, the literal labor of love. I also saw how scary the unknowns and certain aspects of the journey can be and I knew I wanted to help, in some way. After a bit of research, I found what I want to be when I grow up! A doula! 🐣🤰I've worked in caregiving capacities most of my adult life and feel I'm exactly where I need to be. As a doula, I aim to bring compassionate, client-centered care and remind every client how empowered they are.
