is to help those who cannot help themselves by restoring their dignity, respecting their gifts and talents, and empowering them to rebuild their lives. Since its birth in 2009 over 17,000 non-insured and low income patients have been served through our Medical and dental clinics.. The patient must write what they did and send it back to Operation H.O.P.E., Inc within 30 days of their visit. This just came in. We ordered it only 4 days ago. What made it possible was that our friend had a valid ID already which most don’t have. Thank you to our generous donors who made it possible also. This will open up many opportunities for him. Personal information has been redacted for privacy.

Be a companion today.

Ernest Hemingway once said: In our darkest moments, we don’t need solutions or advice. What we yearn for is simply human connection—a quiet presence, a gentle touch. These small gestures are the anchors that hold us steady when life feels like too much.

Please don’t try to fix me. Don’t take on my pain or push away my shadows. Just sit beside me as I work through my own inner storms. Be the steady hand I can reach for as I find my way.

My pain is mine to carry, my battles mine to face. But your presence reminds me I’m not alone in this vast, sometimes frightening world. It’s a quiet reminder that I am worthy of love, even when I feel broken.

So, in those dark hours when I lose my way, will you just be here? Not as a rescuer, but as a companion. Hold my hand until the dawn arrives, helping me remember my strength.

Your silent support is the most precious gift you can give. It’s a love that helps me remember who I am, even when I forget.

We have been continuing our homeless outreach every 1st and 3rd Saturday mornings. We have about 150 street friends show up. Our volunteers have been so faithful bringing all kinds of supplies (i.e. food, clothing, shoes, bibles, hygienic products, blankets, etc). We now have 3 barber volunteers. We provide about $500 worth of bus passes each month. We get them 50% off due to our non profit status. Each 24 hr bus pass costs $2.50. Buspasses not only help them get around to where they need to go but it can also be life-saving especially in the hot Vegas summer as the buses provide cool AC shelter for them.

I always greet them as they come in with "good morning". Simple gestures like that make a huge difference as it is rare for them to hear those words. I also say God bless you as they walk out and they always say something like: God bless you more; Thank you for doing this for us..

One guy ran up to me as he was walking out and told me he was on his way to his new job. I celebrated with him saying, "that's great!" He stated, " you guys helped me get the job." I asked, " How did we help you?" He said, "I've been coming here for two months and you guys always treat me with love and that's all I needed to get a job."

I always remind our volunteers:
It is not what we do but how we do it that makes all the difference..

We may never know what our smiles might have done for these precious folks but that is the secret sauce behind solving the homeless crisis in this country.

Thank you once again to keep us going. We cannot do this without your support.

Our Story

The HOPE Clinic is expanding its health care services to our community. Since its birth in 2009 we have had the privilege of serving over 15,000 patients. We are 100% volunteer-run organization with all of the donations going directly to our patients. Although the clinic service is provided with no financial charge, patients must agree to participate in our Pay-It-Forward program which require patients to do three acts of kindness to at least 3 other individuals in return for our service. Then patients must write us a letter about their service which is required for follow up visits. This pay it forward approach helps to eliminate the idea of a person trying to take advantage of free services. It gives the person receiving our help a sense of responsibility and dignity to give back to others in the community.

To be eligible, patients must be uninsured and total household income must not exceed 200% of the federal poverty level. Homeless patients are eligible regardless of the insurance status. The HOPE Clinic is open on Wednesdays 2pm-6pm located at 992 E Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89104. Our second clinic is dedicated exclusively for the homeless on Mondays 9 am-12pm located at 200 Foremaster Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89101. No appointments are necessary (walk-in only) on a first come first serve basis. Dental services are available only for the homeless population.

If interested in volunteering, please come to our clinics during our opening hours.
