Re-opening my schedule today reminded me of just how much I get to be a part of 🙌🏻 The shift from “I have to” -> “I get to” has been hitting different lately.

I get to…

1. Witness glow-ups from the front row.
2. Experience work/life balance in a season where my family needs me most.
3. Have the flexibility to show up fully — as a mom, a nurse, and an injector who genuinely loves this work.
4. Practice in a field that blends medicine, science, and art.
5. Build the kind of client relationships that don’t feel like “work” at all.
6. Help restore confidence in the most natural, intentional way.
7. Keep growing… both personally and professionally.

Feeling grateful, excited, and ready. Life has an amazing way of working itself out, and you never know what opportunities will knock at your door— so stay open, always. Amazing things occur as a result! 🤍

A few things I am terrified of 👻

Ever wonder why we say “don’t lie down for 4 hours” after your neurotoxin appointment? 👀

The original recommendation to avoid lying down came from early Botox protocols… and some providers now consider it overly cautious. We know it’s likely safe to lie down sooner, but MOST providers still recommend waiting…

When you receive neurotoxin injections the product is suspended in saline (liquid) and injected into specific muscle groups where it diffuses and binds to the neuromuscular junctions that we want to slow down. The binding process isn’t instantaneous — it takes roughly 4 hours for the toxin molecules to begin anchoring, and up to 24 hours for full fixation!

And I KNOW our technique (precision + dilution) matters more than your posture — but even if the actual risk is low, the logic is that it costs nothing to avoid lying down for 4 hours, and I am team “better safe than sorry”. Always 🙌🏻

Two Opus Plasma sessions in — and her skin is already responding beautifully!!

What you’re seeing here is not the “final result.”
She still has one more treatment to go, and Opus continues to work beneath the surface for months as collagen and elastin rebuild. That slow, steady improvement is what makes this treatment so dang special.

Halfway there… and we’re already seeing:

• Softer fine lines
• Smoother texture
• More even tone
• Volume restored in the midface

Introducing our sweet Ayla Ruth to the world.

Today marks one week of God giving us the greatest gift— her earth side with us, and a safe delivery for me. This past week, I did not have the emotional or mental bandwidth to reply to every message timely, or share minute by minute updates— but on her one week birthday, here we are. This has been the hardest, most emotional week of my life. Without sharing every tiny detail (because there are many), Ayla has spent her first days in the NICU initially needing a lot of breathing support. With time, patience, heartbreaking fear and hope, and so many prayers, she’s turned the page— and if all continues to go well, we’ll be bringing her home soon.

She’s the perfect addition to our family, and I am so thankful for the incredible NICU nurses who loved on her (and us) through every step. What a blessing it’s been to feel/be on the same team.

Counting my blessings extra this week as we celebrate one whole week with our little girl. She’s perfect.

Thank you to everyone who sent messages asking about her arrival, and checking in on me— your love was felt. 🤍 Welcome my little love bug.

A BIG thank you to every single client, friend, and supporter who has sent loving words, encouragement, and even the sweetest gifts for both this momma-to-be and little Ayla!!

I feel so fortunate to have so much love in my corner as we get ready to welcome my last baby … and baby GIRL 🎀

The next couple months ahead are going to look a little different as I step away from the treatment room, but I’ll still be around on here sharing glimpses of real life vs. work life…. and I can’t wait to connect in new ways and share this special season with each of you!

I still have so many treatment before and afters that I will continue to highlight, and fun interactive stories to stay engaged— all things I am looking forward to!

From the absolute bottom of my heart—thank you for making me feel so supported and celebrated during this chapter! I’ll see you back in office soon enough, and I’ll be sure to let you all know when my books open back up ☺️

Facial balancing = chefs kiss.

For this treatment, I used Restylane Defyne with two different approaches— needle and cannula —to soften her pre-jowl sulcus and add length at the base of her chin!!

Chin filler is very much like lips: slow and steady wins the race. Building gradually allows the filler to integrate beautifully with your tissue—and most importantly, keeps the treatment safe.

This is just her first step! We’ll continue to enhance her lower face with another session, focusing on the jawline to create a naturally balanced profile.
