What did he do?

He followed the plan we laid out.

Yes, had his cheat meals. He didn’t give up alcohol and he even missed several workouts.

This past summer Eric reached out to me on Instagram and said he wanted to make 2023 the year he is in the best health and shape of his life.

We scheduled a call where we spoke about his goals, challenges and I gave him some confidence that we would be able to get there together.

I’m turning 41 in exactly 60 days…

It’s humbling to become aware of your body physically aging.

I’m fully aware that i may have hit my genetic potential.

But I’m still relentlessly committed.

Incremental improvements… that’s my focus.

Thankfully, I’m still getting stronger. I’m still just as lean. My body is still improving in mobility, my energy is great, my endurance is high.

i know one day that will stop.

But not willingly resign.

I’m still pushing my physical limits and will Continue to do so until it’s actually impossible.

So long as i am capable i will continue to push, grow and thrive.

It’s a mental game my friends…

…And i will never lose that game.

I hope you don’t either.

Cheers to getting older.

Cavin lost his entire guy in 10 weeks.

Cavin gained a bunch of weight during covid and even worked with an “Instagram Influencer” to lose it.

Unfortunately it was a cookie cutter program that didn’t allow for much flexibility.

Cavin needed more of a custom framework to suit his needs.

Cavin and I put together a game plan that worked with his schedule and when we ran into road blocks we were able to troubleshoot them together.

Cavin made a ton of progress in 10 weeks and now has a plan he feels comfortable refining on his own.

Tony turned into a beast in the past 12 weeks.

reached out to me this summer wanting you build some muscle... but he also wanted to lean up.

He's a high level yoga enthusiast, did crossfit and had a balanced diet.

But he was leaving a lot of room on the table.

So we put together a custom training plan and nutrition protocol.

Fast forward to now Sam has put on 10lbs of mass and has even lost some fat around his midsection.

Earlier today we were chatting and jokingly said his arms have doubled in size.

I put Paul on an 8 week accelerated fat loss protocol.

This was one of the first messages Tiago sent me.

Tiago is a recording artist, father and husband.

He travels a lot and has an unpredictable schedule.

But his commitment to change was higher than his circumstances.

We took out all of the guesswork and got to work.

And here we are 75 days later... his belly is completely gone.

I'd be lying if I said genetics don't play a role, they do. However…

…most people wrongfully assume they are predisposed to poor genetics and never really fulfill their genetic potential.

"I can't lose this gut"
"I can't build muscle"
"My legs won't grow"
“I'll never have abs”

I used to say all of these things and i really believed them until i was 30 years old.

Look, we all have a genetic limit. And yes there are genetic freaks we all envy. They can build more muscle mass, strength and keep abs all year round.

But before you assume you have sh*tty genetics you have to make sure you have the right training volume, form, stimulus, frequency and consistency with a dietary approach, sleep schedule and many other factors that are all sufficient in order to truly realize your genetic potential.

Most research suggests that you have about 5-10 years (sometimes more) of progressive strength training before your capacity to build muscle begins to completely plateau. And fat-loss can be indefinite.

So unless you have been busting your ass for nearly 10 years straight with the right framework you likely are nowhere near your genetic potential and this can be done well into your late 50s.
