☀️ Long days, hot temperatures, and new routines can take a toll on little bodies. If your child seems extra sleepy this summer, it might be a healthy sign that they’re busy growing and playing.

It’s not just the heat, though, that plays a big part! Increased sun exposure, outdoor activities, and shifting routines like later bedtimes can leave kids feeling worn out. Their bodies are adjusting to a new rhythm, and it’s totally normal for them to need more rest.

Make sure they stay hydrated, get enough downtime, and try to keep a consistent sleep schedule when you can. If the fatigue seems unusual or extreme, we’re always here to help.

Summer Stomach Bugs: What You Need to Know 🤢☀️

Warmer weather brings more than just outdoor fun — it can also bring stomach bugs! Viruses like norovirus and rotavirus spread quickly through contaminated food, water, or surfaces, and symptoms can come on fast.

What to look out for:
• Nausea of vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Stomach cramps
• Low-grade fever
• Fatigue and dehydration

💧What to do:
Keep your child hydrated with small sips of water. Let their stomach rest — avoid heavy foods, and call your pediatrician if symptoms last more than a couple of days or if dehydration is a concern.

🧼Prevention tips:
Wash hands often, avoid sharing food or drinks, and be cautious with picnic or poolside snacks that sit in the sun too long.
