🎉 Congratulations to Vanessa Flores! 🎉

Vanessa, a lead research assistant at the TREATment Lab, has been awarded the 2025 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) from UNLV's Office of Undergraduate Research! 🌟

Vanessa contributes to projects aimed at improving access to mental health care in underserved communities. 💛

This $1,500 fellowship will fund her independent research project, which she'll present at the Fall 2025 Undergraduate Research Symposium. 🙌

Research Opportunity for Older Adults in Las Vegas!

Join our research study evaluating the effectiveness of Engage psychotherapy program in improving depression among adults aged 60 and older.

If you or someone you know is experiencing depression alongside changes in concentration and thinking ability, you may be eligible to participate. As part of the study, participants will receive nine (9) weekly Engage therapy sessions conducted in person at UNLV or a nearby affiliated site.

Your involvement will also include completing questionnaires, interviews, and computer tests to track progress throughout the study. Engage therapy is provided free of charge, and eligible participants will receive financial compensation.
