How to feel comfortable in your own skin 💕

fitness is a huge part of my life, but it isn’t something that I am tied to.

fitness should ENHANCE your life, not make it more dreadful.

If you’re uncomfortable with your body, take action, and change it.

If you’re not happy with your diet, learn what food makes you feel good

If you want to have more energy, eat more nutritious food (don’t skip breakfast!!) yes I’m calling you out.

If you want to build muscle, girl, you’re gonna have to lift some weights!

I hear you say, “I want to tone up my legs” or “I want toned arms”

but the second I tell you to lift heavy to get strong you get uncomfortable...

let’s put this into action:

say you have 5 books stacked on each other, the books will be representing fat.

and you slowly take 1 book off at a time. As you take 1 book off the stack (fat loss), your stack gets smaller but the overall shape doesn’t change!

Now let’s put a rock 🪨 under that stack. (rock represents muscle) As you take the books away, you start to see that rock appear more and more.

This is where a lot of women fail at achieving their dream body. They get so focused on losing fat over and over that they miss even putting on muscle in the first place.

if i could go back and redo my journey, here’s what I’d do differently:

1️⃣ Train with intensity. Focus on progressive overload
2️⃣ Fuel my body with enough food. Hit your macros (protein, carbs, fats)
3️⃣ Rest & recover
4️⃣ Stay consistent (you’re or going to be perfect, and that’s OKAY. Keep on going!)
5️⃣ Be patient!

Lately my workouts have been feeling SO good! and in all honesty not every day feels like a win. Some days I don’t PR and that can mess with my head as I’m preparing for the Olympia, but then I remind myself, “you are your own competition” when I’m feeling like I’m not progressing, I remind myself of how far I’ve already come. (Plus is it just me or have you been doing the same 10-15lb lateral raises for years 🙃🙃)

Not every workout is going to be “progression” but the fact that you still showed up is what matters.

Shoulder workout:
✖️ single arm lateral raises (3x15)
✖️ seated shoulder press (3x10)
✖️ upright rows (3x10-12)
✖️ single cross body rear delt flys (3x15)
✖️ dumbbell front raises (3x12)
✖️ machine lateral raise (3x10-12)

Your dream life is built one bold decision at a time.

Today I had a moment where I stopped at a red light, looked around at the world buzzing by… and felt overwhelming gratitude.

Not for something big.
Just for the simple fact that I didn’t have to go clock in at a job I hated.

I work from home.
I make my own schedule.
I help women build confidence and feel unstoppable in their skin.
And every time I pause, I’m reminded:
This life didn’t happen by accident.
It was BUILT, with risk, patience, prayer, and action.

Sometimes I wonder how Teaghan and I even got here.

I overthink. I hesitate. I second guess myself.
But I also stay curious.
And that curiosity led me here.

Now I get to help you build your version of this.
The mindset. The confidence. The freedom.

I learned…

3 tips on how to lean out while maintaining as much muscle mass as possible!! 🤘🏻(Be sure to save this post to reference later)

1. DON’T change up your training routine. One common mistake I see ladies make is thinking they should switch from heavy lifting to high-rep, low-weight training to “burn more calories and lose fat.”

But that’s NOT what you want to do.

If you want to KEEP the muscle you’ve worked for, your training should not be any different than if your goal was to gain weight.

It’s best recommended to follow a structured workout routine that allows you to progressively overload your muscles each week 📈

2. TRACK YOUR MACROS 🥑🍓🥪🥙 I know it can be annoying and tedious, but it’s the best way to CONTROL your outcome. What gets measured gets managed. Aim for roughly .9-1 g /lb in body weight in protein and make sure you’re in a caloric deficit. Remember, fat loss will ONLY happen if you’re in a caloric deficit. You can’t expect to outwork a bad diet

3. Creatine!!!
Creatine is the most highly researched and proven effective supplement out there.

👉 It enhances muscular strength and endurance. It’ll help you maintain & even build some strength as you cut. This is crucial!!

👉 Creatine promotes better muscle recovery (reduces the risk of muscle loss during calorie deficit)

I take 1 serving of creatine before my workouts every day-including rest days. Im telling you- it’ll make a huge difference!!

CHALLENGE STARTS NEXT MONDAY

Here’s what you need to know

Thanks to everyone for signing up for the 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝟱-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗕eat the Bloat 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲! I hope you’re ready to learn a bunch and kickstart your way to zero bloat or inflammation!

One thing I ask of you throughout the whole challenge….

𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹.

If you apply the things you learn in this challenge, you will see results. If you don’t apply it, then you won’t see results.

The Challenge starts on Sunday, April 29th, 𝟮𝟬𝟮4 and runs through Friday May 3rd, 𝟮𝟬𝟮4.

Life update because I haven’t done one in awhile…

🌟VEGAS BOUND, still in escrow for a home so more details to come.
🌟Training has been sporadic because of new schedule, but we are still making gains.
🌟 Going from the most humid state🌴 to the driest 🥵 state takes some adjusting lol my nostrils are HURTING. Send haalp.
🌟 Practicing more self care and MAN IS THIS SO IMPORTANT.
🌟Teaghan is almost 7 weeks out and he’s looking pretty gnarly!
