I’M AN RN WITH ALOPECIA AND THIS IS HOW I’M GROWING MY HAIR BACK AND GETTING HEALTHY
This is an amazing journey about my severe hair loss and how I’m growing my hair back. My hair even grew back in places that were once bald. Growing up I had incredibly thick curly hair, which was always healthy and nice. At a very, very stressful time in my life, my hair began to thin for about four years until I was completely bald on top of my head. Feeling defeated and ashamed I was no longer my happy GO LUCKY self. Lace wigs were new and I began wearing them but my hair continued to fall out. I had a few baby hairs and fuzz on top of my head but the balding continued to spread going towards the back of my head, so I kept my head shaved or very short and had my wigs to help me cope with baldness.
After living with baldness (alopecia) for a number of years, I became somewhat comfortable and started telling family and friends about my thinning hair. I was surprised to find out that so many women have lost their hair or have thinning hair. Nearly 40% of women have thinning hair by the age of 40. Lots of women are ashamed and do not seek help, while others seek help from dermatologist or hair care specialist who deal with hair loss, some even seek holistic health practitioners are highly sought after. While subjecting ourselves to high cost prescription drugs, injections, topical creams that all came with a multitude of side effects, the long journey to hair regrowth can be daunting and definitely have its challenges. With high cost and a lot of time involved, women like me are really disappointed with the outcomes of these treatments……
Mistakenly thought to be a strictly male disease, women make up a significant percentage of American hair loss sufferers. Forty percent of women have visible hair loss by the time they are age 40, according to the American Academy of Dermatology. Hair loss in women can be absolutely devastating for self-image and emotional well-being. Men too can benefit from this treatment.
I decided to take matters into my own hands. I started researching Alopecia, along with hair loss and why some women/men loose hair and some have a head full of hair. After over 5 years of suffering baldness, I decided to try to regrow my hair but first I had to get rid of the inflammation harvesting in my scalp, along with the process of unclogging my hair follicles to allow growth. Dermatologists wanted to give me antibiotics for the inflammation but I am not a pill person and decided not to take them because of the nasty side effects. The first thing I did was look for natural ingredients to help my hair loss and products that decrease the inflammation and redness on my scalp. I wanted no chemicals because I believe that could have been part of my hair loss problem in the first place.
I made my own shampoo with black soap and I also applied an oil mixture and massaged into my scalp, which is a must. CBD oil stopped me from stressing out from my hair loss. If there is too much oil on top of your scalp, massage scalp for at least 5 to 15 minutes then wash. My kids laughed when I told them I was trying to regrow my hair but to my amazement I started to grow more peach fuzz on top of my head and within a month the top of my head was covered with tiny hairs where there was once no hair at all.
I am a nurse and IT’S JUST MY NATURE TO TRY AND HELP THOSE IN NEED. Therefore, here is what I learned and what I did for my hair loss problem. I am not prescribing nor am I telling you what you must do. I am just sharing my journey, experience, knowledge and the natural products I experimented with, studied and used. Just keep in mind individual results vary.

Just to name a few
The benefits and risks of some supplements on the market are undetermined by federal agencies. These supplements will undergo further study before any definitive claims may be made about their value to the human body. Our h**p extracts fall under this category of supplements. Consumers must be aware that just because a dietary supplement is on the market does not mean it is federally tested and approved. Many dietary supplements, like CBD oil, may be marketed before the FDA has rated their efficacy.
Our supplements are derived from industrial h**p, not to be confused with ma*****na. Industrial h**p is a legal plant from which many popular foods are harvested. To create our products, we extract a full spectrum of compounds from the h**p plant.

These products are intended for internal consumption.
Because our h**p extract is a natural supplement that comes from a plant, it has a taste that some consider to be bitter and strong. While many of our customers like the flavor, some would rather find a way to mask it. If that’s you, try mixing the oil in honey, applesauce, or a smoothie. Another great option is to try our h**p extract in capsule form. These are easy to swallow with a glass of water or your favorite juice.
