🚨 Republicans in the Senate just passed their budget bill with the largest cuts to healthcare coverage in U.S. history. 17 million Americans, including more than 114,000 Nevadans, will lose healthcare coverage and hospitals and nursing homes will have to turn away patients or close down.

Today, I was at Spanish Hills Wellness Suites with healthcare providers to sound the alarm on how federal healthcare and Medicaid cuts will harm provider services and take away healthcare from thousands of Nevadans. Thank you for joining me Nevada Healthcare Association, AHCA/NCAL, and the Nevada Hospital Association.

I’m heading back to Washington tonight to vote against this bill in the House because it will decimate healthcare in Nevada, add $3.3 trillion to the national debt, take food away from hungry kids and seniors, jack up energy prices, and cut construction jobs — all while the wealthiest Americans get massive tax breaks.

It’s up to Republicans in Congress to stop these healthcare cuts – they have control of the House, Senate, and White House.

Our staff at Spanish Hills strives to offer a comfortable, positive, and motivating place for our residents to thrive. Our dedicated Rehabilitation Program at Spanish Hills Wellness Suites consists of an interdisciplinary team that evaluates each resident’s unique situation and works to create a cohesive and individualized plan for success. Through our Short-Term Care program, our therapists will work to improve independence, strength, and confidence so our patients can transition back to their prior living environment or the least restrictive environment upon discharge with our Short-Term Care program.
