♥️BOLOGNESE WITH A TWIST ♥️
It’s the first day of fall which means comfort food is on the menu!
Do you love Pasta Bolognese as much as I do?
Here for you the recipe the Vinie’s way of course!😉
Ingredients :
1lb Ground beef
1 sweet onion
3 garlic cloves
2TBSP Dry oregano
2TBSP Dry basil
2TBSP Italian seasoning
2 Bay leaves
2 cups of Mushroom
56 oz Can crushed Tomatoes
3 TBSP Tomato paste
⅓ cup of Wine (Optional )
A handful of Fresh Basil
Salt and Pepper at your own taste
Directions:
In a large saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook it until brown. Add the garlic and the onion, cook it until soft. Add the tomato sauce with the tomato paste, and the wine and stir well. Add the dry oregano, basil, Italian seasoning, Bay leaves, salt and pepper. Stir all together. Lastly, add the mushrooms and the fresh basil leaves. Let it simmer on low heat for a minimum of 60 min for up to 4 hours to get the most flavorful sauce! Enjoy !
