♥️BOLOGNESE WITH A TWIST ♥️

It’s the first day of fall which means comfort food is on the menu!

Do you love Pasta Bolognese as much as I do?

Here for you the recipe the Vinie’s way of course!😉

Ingredients : 

1lb Ground beef
1 sweet onion
3 garlic cloves
2TBSP Dry oregano
2TBSP Dry basil
2TBSP Italian seasoning
2 Bay leaves
2 cups of Mushroom
56 oz Can crushed Tomatoes
3 TBSP Tomato paste
⅓ cup of Wine (Optional )
A handful of Fresh Basil
Salt and Pepper at your own taste

Directions:
In a large saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook it until brown. Add the garlic and the onion, cook it until soft. Add the tomato sauce with the tomato paste, and the wine and stir well. Add the dry oregano, basil, Italian seasoning, Bay leaves, salt and pepper. Stir all together.   Lastly, add the mushrooms and the fresh basil leaves. Let it simmer on low heat for a minimum of 60 min for up to 4 hours to get  the most flavorful sauce! Enjoy !

HONEY MUSTARD CHICKEN SKEWERS !!!

SAVE, LIKE , SHARE, ENJoy 🍗

Are you tired of eating plain chicken ? Me too.
Try this recipe!!! It’s super simple and the marinade makes the chicken moist and really tasty.

These skewers pair well with a simple green side salad or roasted potato wedges.

You can also cool the chicken breast as it is if you don’t have skewers. They will taste as good!

No more dry chicken … YAY 😀

Ingredients:

* 1 pound chicken breast
* salt, to taste
* 1 cup spicy brown mustard
* 1/4 cup honey
* 2 TBSP Olive oil
* 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
* chopped cilantro, for garnish

Directions:

1. Cut the chicken breast in cubes and press them onto metal skewers then place in a large baking dish. Sprinkle with salt on all the chicken skewers.
2. Mix together mustard, honey, olive oil, chili flakes and black pepper. Pour the honey mustard marinade on top of the skewers until they are completely covered. Cover the dish with foil and place in the fridge to marinate for 2+ hours.
3. Once they are done marinating, heat up a grill or grill pan and grease with ghee. Remove skewers from marinate and grill on each side for 4-5 minutes, until no pink remains.
4. Once meat is done cooking and still hot sprinkle with a freshly chopped cilantro on top! Serve up!

DROP A YES IF YOU AGREE ⬇️

That quote is a reminder that you can’t expect your life to be different If you keep doing the same things over and over.

You have to break the pattern of your habits or the way you are thinking by changing something in order to get a different outcome.

So that change will create a transformation.

And transformation will lead to a progress.

That progress will lead to a positive outcome.

That positive outcome will give us Satisfaction, Fulfillment, Joy or any sort of positive emotion that makes us feel good about ourselves.

And right there is the turning point where motivation kicks in and get us to keep going OR like most of us behave…we are happy with the result so then we become less consistent, we think “I’LL START AGAIN TOMORROW”… tomorrow comes and we didn’t do it and so we say to ourselves “I’LL START AGAIN ON MONDAY “ and there we go, back to our old patterns…

Apply the following steps :

1️⃣Decide what you want to accomplish.

2️⃣Take a look at your daily routine, your habits.

3️⃣Pick one thing that you do that doesn’t serve you Because it’s keeping you away from your goal

4️⃣Swap it for an action that will benefit from.

5️⃣Repeat

6️⃣Adjust

7️⃣Repeat until you see results.

8️⃣When you see results Keep repeating 😊

Don’t quit too early otherwise you will fall back into the circle of nothing changes because you have changed nothing!

Breakfast / brunch idea to try this weekend!!!

🍳French omelette! 🍳

Did you know that you only need 3 Ingredients?

My mum is an expert at French omelette👌🏼
I have to say they are the best I ever got to eat!
She makes them so moist and soft, it’s a pure delish!!! It’s probably because she always cook them with love🤍
So I have learned a lot from her technique but to be honest I’m still perfecting mine 😉

🥑Add some avocados to get some good fats to keep you full for a while and complement it with a nice side salad to get some fibers into you 🥬

Here is the recipe for you :

Ingredients:
For 1 serving
3 eggs salt, to taste 1 tablespoon butter, unsalted ( you can sub with olive oil if you want to keep it dairy free ) fresh chives, to serve

Directions

* Beat the eggs with the salt until the whites and the yolks are completely combined, with no spots of egg white remaining.

* Over medium-low heat, melt the butter in a skillet, then pour in the eggs.

* Using a rubber spatula, constantly scrape the bottom of the pan while gently shaking the pan in a circular motion to ensure that the eggs cook slowly, forming only small curds, about 1-2 minutes

* Once you start to see the bottom of the pan for more than a second after scraping, push the eggs into a round circular shape. Cook until the edges solidify, then tilt the pan and carefully roll the omelette on itself.

* Invert onto a plate, then sprinkle with chives.

* Serve immediately.

I thought it was time to Introduce myself since there is a lot of new faces recently 😊

My name is virginie but my friends call me Vinie (with only 1 N 😉)
I’m originally from France, I live in Las Vegas with my Irish husband and our adorable pup Archie!

I am a former gymnast and a retired Cirque du Soleil Artist. After 11 years on the road, flipping in the air, in July 2019 I decided to unpack my suitcases for good and give a break to my body.
I then started to work as an casting advisor for the residents show of CDS until I got laid off due to the pandemic 😕

Prior to being a performer I used to be a fitness instructor in my home town.

I’ve always loved helping people reach their health goals. So while still performing I studied and got 3 extra fitness certifications and became a certified health coach as well.

I’m passionate about everything related to healthy living. The purpose of my IG account is to inspire and motivate women to take ownership of their wellbeing, to give them the tools and the support to live a healthier life in order to feel their best from the inside out.

NO BAKE CHOCOLATE COCONUT GRANOLA BAR!!

Save it for later, double tap if you like it and share it so people can enjoy this super easy and healthy recipe. (no refined sugar! )

These bars are packed with real, wholesome ingredients and an excellent ratio of fats, fibers and carbs. AKA perfect for post workout, or a quick on-the-go snack.

It takes only 15 min to prep and 1 hour in the fridge until you can enjoy it. No brainer!!!

When you make the decision to change something in your life or learn/do something new it’s scary and uncomfortable at first.

It’s ok, it’s normal and it’s part of the process.

But if you keep pushing and doing it consistently, GROWTH happens!!!

Growth is the essence of life, it’s a fact without growth we die.

So go and get out of your comfort zone today!! Feel uncomfortable, feel the fear, feel alive!!!

Happy week-end !!!!

Do you want and easy and healthy brunch idea?

SHAKSHUKA!!!

It takes 20 min to make and it’s super easy, full of flavor and very fueling ♥️

Ingredients:
- 1 small sweet onion
- 1 red bell pepper
- 4 to 6 eggs ( depending how many serving you want to make )
- 1 big can of tomorrow sauce
- garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- salt and pepper

Topping :
- Fresh parsley
- Avocado

This goes well with some sourdough bread 😉
