Evening Prayer tonight is for refreshment and renewal. Join with me... as where there are two or three joined in prayer, He will be in our midst. (MATTHEW 18)

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. ⏤ Hebrews 4:9

The sabbath is the day we go to the mountain to see God’s creation. ⏤ Eugene Peterson

Abba Father, as this sweet Sunday evening settles in, we just want to say thank You. Today felt like a breath of fresh air in the middle of a chaotic world, a little oasis where we could slow down, rest, and just be with You. You’ve been our shade, our refreshment, our still waters. We soaked it in, and we’re so grateful.

We don’t take this rest lightly. Use it, Father, to recharge us for the week ahead. Strengthen our hearts, sharpen our focus, and fill us with purpose as we head back into the hustle.

Tonight, we ask for more of You. We crave a deeper connection. Sometimes You feel so near, and other times…we’re just reaching. We can't see You, can’t touch You, but we believe You’re here. Help us become more aware of Your presence. Meet us in Your Word. Let Your Spirit draw us closer until we’re overflowing with Your joy, peace, and unshakable love.

We want to look more like You, Yeshua. Change us from the inside out. We’re hungry for righteousness, not just to act holy, but to be holy. Make us whole and good like You. You promised You’d fill those who hunger and thirst for more, and we’re coming hungry tonight.

So here we are, sitting at Your feet. We wait for Your blessing, Your filling, Your touch. Send us into this new week full of Jesus, ready to love hard, walk bold, and pour out what You’ve poured in. In Your mighty name, Yeshua Hamashiach. Amen.

Let's pray tonight's Evening Prayer for reflections and rest in God's presence. I hope you'll join me!

Cast your burden on יהוה, And let Him sustain you; He never allows the righteous to be shaken.⏤ Psalm 55:22

We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties. ⏤ Oswald Chambers

As the night settles in and the world quiets down, we come running home to You, Abba. Like little ones climbing into safe arms, or birds tucked into the shelter of their nests, we draw near to the Vine. Wrap us in Your covering love tonight.

Thank You for making a way for us to come close, even though we mess it up sometimes. We don’t come with credentials. We come clinging to the mercy of Yeshua, who laid His life down for us. It’s by His grace we stand, and in His name we pray.

Everything we did today, whether it hit the mark or missed it by a mile, we lay it all at Your feet. Use our broken pieces and human effort to build something eternal. You’ve been known to take the weak, the overlooked, and the busted-up, and do miracles. So we trust You’ll do the same with us.

We ask a special blessing over our homes tonight. Make our spaces peaceful, our hearts soft, and our words kind. Remind us to be tender with each other, even when we’re tired. Let irritation, sharp words, and impatience fall away like dried-up raisins from the vine... so what remains is love. Real, juicy, Jesus-style love.

Teach us to love our neighbors, too. Not just the ones next door, but the ones across the screen, across the country, across the divide. If we blew it today, forgive us. Fill us up again with Your love so we can pour it out right.

Yahweh, we just want to rest in You tonight. Steady our minds. Calm our hearts. Cover our families, our communities, and every weary soul connected to this Global Grapevine. Let Your peace be the blanket we wrap ourselves in.In the name of our Redeemer, Yeshua. Amen.

The Evening Prayer is for seeking God's peace and forgiveness. Please pray with me and give an Amen.

Tremble, and do not sin. Speak within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah. ⏤ Psalm 4:4

God’s answer to the human situation is never something but someone. ⏤ John Stott

Lord, here we are at this quiet evening hour, just laying it all down before You. The day’s done. We can’t rewind it. Can’t undo what we shouldn't have said or fix what we forgot to do. It’s sealed. So we hand it over to You, trusting You to sort through it with mercy and grace.

As night falls and the world winds down, we ask for Your peace to settle over us like a soft blanket. Forgive us for what we got wrong today, intentional or not, and guard our hearts as we rest. Be our shelter through the night.

But we’re not just here for ourselves. Our hearts are heavy for others, too. For the ones hurting in their bodies. For the ones grieving. For the ones who used to feel close to You but now feel far away. For the ones caught up in the noise of the world but starving for something real. For those with friends who cut deeper than strangers, yet haven’t met You, the Friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Jesus, You know. You’ve been here. You’ve felt the weight of this world. You’ve walked through temptation, tears, and trouble. Nothing surprises You. You see every hidden wound, even the ones we try to dress up and hide.

So tonight, we ask for Your healing touch because Your touch still heals. Your words still change everything. Speak over us, over our loved ones, over the broken and bruised. Bring comfort. Bring restoration. Bring hope. We need You. In Your precious, powerful name, Amen.

Evening Prayer for reflection in God's grace. Join me, and if so, please Amen in the comments.

He has not done to us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our crookednesses. For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His loving-commitment toward those who fear Him; As far as east is from west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. ⏤ Psalm 103:10-12

A holy life is the best testimony we can give of the grace which we have received. ⏤ J.C. Ryle

Abba, as night settles in, we ask You to breathe Your peace over us. We’ve been out here today doing our best, but we know we fall short. There's still a whole lot in us that needs scrubbing. We're not coming to You with any medals or spiritual trophies. We're coming as friends of Your Son, covered by His grace alone.

Yeshua gave everything for us. He carried our mess on that cross. So we don’t stand here pretending to be spotless. You already know the truth. Even when we think we’re doing good, there’s still pride creeping in, or a selfish motive hiding underneath. So we come tonight not on our own merit, but fully leaning on Jesus. Let us be hidden in Him when You look at us. See His goodness, not our grime. Love us freely for His sake.

We’re grateful for today and for every moment, every lesson, every blessing You tucked into it. Use our small acts of kindness and love to do something bigger in someone else's life. Every word of comfort, every shoulder offered, every load we tried to help carry. May it ripple out in ways only You can make happen.

And if we messed up today (and let’s be real, we probably did) whether we snapped out of frustration, acted selfishly, or just didn’t notice someone’s need, forgive us. And if we can fix it, show us how. Let us be the kind of people who don't just say sorry, but who bring healing where we’ve caused harm. Teach us how to overcome evil with good, and how to keep choosing love, even when it’s hard.

We want to be people who bless and not burden, who lift and not tear down. In the name of Jesus, our Redeemer, our refuge, we pray. Amen.

Join me in tonight's Evening Prayer for today's hardships

And we know that all matters work together for good to those who love Elohim, to those who are called according to His purpose. ⏤ Romans 8:28

In God's economy, nothing is ever wasted. ⏤ Oswald Chambers

Abba, as the sun dips low and the world quiets down, we lift our hearts to You. Thank You for walking with us today through the highs, the lows, and everything in between. You gave us breath, strength, provision, and protection, even in moments we didn’t recognize it. You showed up in ways seen and unseen, and for that, we’re grateful.

We didn’t get everything we wanted today. Some plans flopped, some prayers are still sitting in the waiting room, and a few hopes got bruised. But we trust that even the no’s and the not-yets were wrapped in Your love. You don’t waste pain, and You don’t misplace purpose. If You allowed it, we believe there’s goodness hidden in it. Help us to say, with full hearts and stubborn faith, “Your will be done,” even when it stretches us.

Now we lay this day at Your feet. It’s done. We can’t rewrite it, we can’t take back words we wish we hadn’t said, and we can’t undo the moments we missed. But You are merciful. Cover our mess with Your grace. Heal where we wounded. Redeem what we botched. And please, please be gentle with our humanity.

We trust You to handle what’s behind us just as faithfully as You hold what’s ahead.

In the mighty name of Yeshua,
Amen. 🍇

Tonight's Evening Prayer is for forgiveness and peace.

Let my prayer be prepared before You as incense, The lifting up of my hands as the evening offering. ⏤ Psalm 141:2

There is a time for heart searching in every evening, to see how the day has been spent. ⏤ Octavius Winslow

Lord, as the day winds down, we come to You with hearts wide open. Hear us when we call. Let our prayers rise like incense and our hands lifted in surrender be like an evening offering. Cover our home tonight with Your peace.

If we messed up today, if patience wore thin or love didn’t come easy, we ask for Your forgiveness. Heal what was harsh, soften what was sharp, and fill the gaps with Your grace. Teach us to forgive one another like You forgive us, fully and freely.

Tonight, we long to sink deeper into Your love... the kind that wraps around us like waves and fills every empty space with tenderness. Let Your love soak into our bones and spill over into how we treat others. May it be our rhythm, our breath, our reflex.

We’re not afraid of the dark, because You’re in it with us. Whether it’s midnight or midday, You don’t miss a thing. So we’ll lay our heads down in peace, knowing You’ve got us—every worry, every wound, every whisper.

We lift up our neighbors, the grieving, the lonely, and the weary. Be near. Bring comfort. Be their peace.

In the name of our Redeemer,
Amen.

Evening Prayer

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? ⏤ Psalm 8:3-4

God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains: it is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world. ⏤ C.S. Lewis

We thank You, our Father, for the wonders of the universe that night reveals. We couldn't see the stars while it was day; they were hidden in the brightness of the light. But when the sun went down, all these glories appeared. All these are Your works, O God. It comforts us to remember that our Father made all these marvelous things. Surely You are able to take care of us, Your little children.

We also thank You for the blessings that other nights reveal. You have a thousand comforts in Your love that we don't see while the sun of prosperity shines. It's only when we have some trouble that we begin to understand the meaning of Your promises. It's only when we lose human friends that we find You as the Friend of friends. It's only when we lose earthly treasures that we begin to value the invisible treasures of Your grace. So we thank You for every loss that has revealed a gain and a blessing. We thank You for every sorrow that has made You more real to us. We thank You for the hard paths that have made us trust more fully in You. We thank You for the darkening of day that has brought out the stars of hope in our night. Help us always to believe that when You take away one blessing, You give us another that is even better.

We ask now that You will make all this day's experiences work for our good. Bless us as a family, and give each of us a personal blessing. Hold us in the arms of Your love while we sleep, and let no evil befall us. Shelter all our loved ones and hear their prayers. Bring us all home at last, through Your love, to the sinless world with You, for Jesus' sake. Amen.

Evening Prayer

The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore. ⏤ Psalm 121:7-8

God has never promised to keep us from hard times. He has, however, promised to be with us through them. ⏤ Corrie Ten Boom

In the quiet and stillness of the evening, we come to You, our Father. We went out this morning from Your presence, sent by You. We tried to do Your will, though often we fell short. We ask You at the close of the day for forgiveness for Jesus’ sake.

You have kept us through unseen dangers. Not for a moment was Your eye turned away from us. You carried us in Your heart through all our comings and goings. No mother’s watchfulness over her child is as constant and loving as Your watchfulness over us. We thank You for Your protection. We thank You, too, for all the blessings that came to us today. May we keep these divine gifts. Even when the things that came were just for today, like the bread we ate and the water we drank, may Your blessing in them remain with us forever.

We ask that You gather up all our work for You today and let none of it be lost. Take what we have done and make it part of Your eternal kingdom. May the words we’ve spoken bring grace to those who heard them. Forgive our idle words and bless every good thing we said to anyone. May all the good influences and impressions of our lives remain in the world, and whatever was not healthy, pure, or inspiring, may You erase.

We remember tonight those for whom life is hard. The world is too much for their strength. They are defeated in its battles and often lie wounded. Lift them up again, Father, and don’t let them sink away into eternal death. Be the God of those who have failed and help them rise again. Keep us tonight, our Father, from all danger, and give us peaceful rest. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Evening Prayer for His refuge for us all. I hope you'll join me in passing this for everyone.

Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. ⏤ Psalm 91:9-10

In the darkest times, we can rest knowing that God is our refuge and fortress. ⏤ Charles Spurgeon

Abba, as this day winds down, we run to You not out of habit, but out of holy desperation. You are our hiding place when the world’s too loud, too heavy, too much. We rest tonight in the secret shelter of the Most High, tucked under the shadow of Your wings, where the chaos can’t find us.

You are our refuge. Our fortress. The only One we fully trust. You protect us from traps we didn’t even see coming and from dangers that should’ve taken us out. You cover us with Your feathers like a mama bird shields her babies, fierce and gentle at the same time. We find our peace right there, under Your wings of love.

Your truth is our armor. Not our opinions, not our fear, not our performance, just Your truth. So we won’t waste our breath on fear. Not of what creeps in at night, not what’s flying around in the daylight, not the quiet threats that sneak in when no one’s watching. You’ve got us. Even if thousands fall around us on the left and right, the danger won’t touch us. That's Your promise, and we believe You.

Yahweh, You are our safe place. Because we’ve made You our home (not some backup plan) we’re not living in fear. No evil’s going to overtake us. No sickness will crash through our front door uninvited. You’ve assigned angels to us. On duty. Watching. Guarding. Lifting us up when we stumble, so we don’t even trip on the little things.

And when we do have to face the wild things like the lions, the snakes, the stuff that wants to strike fear deep in our chest, we’re not just walking through it… we’re trampling it in Your name.

We’ve set our love on You, and You haven’t ignored us. You’ve delivered us before, and You’ll do it again. You don’t ghost us when we’re in trouble. You show up, deliver us, and You even honor us, which still blows our minds.

Satisfy us with long life not just

Evening Prayer: A Time to Return and Rest

> “I will both lie down in peace and sleep, for You alone, Yahweh, make me dwell in safety.” — Psalm 4:8

“Prayer is our nearest step toward Yah, and the sweetest communion we can taste this side of eternity.” — A modern twist on Jonathan Edwards

Abba Father, here we are again—coming back to You at the close of another long, imperfect day.

You’ve been with us. You’ve heard the quiet cries and the grateful whispers. You’ve carried us through hard moments we didn’t think we’d make it through, and You’ve surprised us with grace we didn’t deserve. Thank You. For every breath, every bit of strength, every glimpse of joy—thank You.

We lay down everything we did today at Your feet:
- If anything we said or did brought You joy, please accept it, multiply it, use it for good.
- If anything we did missed the mark like being impatient, harsh, distracted, or discouraged, please forgive us. Clean our hearts. Reset our spirits. Let us rest without shame.

If we tried to comfort someone, to listen, to smile, or to simply show up... may those seeds grow into something beautiful by Your hand. We know it’s not about how much we did, but whether love was in it.

If we cast shadows today instead of light, if our worry or weariness bled onto someone else, Abba, please redeem those moments too. Help us do better tomorrow.

Tonight, as the world quiets down and the stars come out, we rest in Your watchful care. You never sleep. You never forget. So we release our anxieties, our failures, and our striving up to you and we will just breathe.

We lift up our friends and family. Those nearby and those far away. You know who’s aching, who’s scared, who’s barely holding on. Send comfort. Send provision. Wrap Your arms around the lonely. Be near the homeless tonight. May someone be Your hands and feet to them.

Whether You wake us to the morning light or call us Home to the eternal one—either way, we trust You.

We pray all this in the precious Name of Yeshua, our Redeemer.
Amen.
