Natural consequences help children learn through real-life experiences. When it’s safe, allowing the natural result of a choice (like cleaning up spilled milk or finding a toy left outside) teaches responsibility and problem-solving in a meaningful way.

At the same time, positive reinforcement is just as important. Noticing and praising safe, responsible choices helps encourage those behaviors to happen again. A healthy balance of both supports learning while keeping the focus on growth, encouragement, and connection. 🌱

Antecedent strategies, like noncontingent reinforcement, can help stop behaviors before they start.
Remember: work with your ABA team to identify the function of the behavior first, and always follow your child’s behavior intervention plan. Collaboration is key!

As we reflect on the past year, it’s incredible to see how much has been accomplished. From becoming credentialed with additional insurance providers—including Nevada Medicaid and Blue Cross Blue Shield—to being listed as a provider with Acumen, we have continued to grow in meaningful ways. We’ve expanded our community outreach efforts, welcomed new RBTs to our team, and are excited to be bringing on additional BCBAs this year and next year.
Watching our company grow has been truly rewarding—from the strong partnerships that have supported us, to the dedicated staff who continue to grow alongside us, and to the parents and families who place their trust in us every day. We are incredibly grateful for each of you and wish everyone a happy, healthy, and wonderful New Year.
