🎲❄️ Frozen AC — Bad Hand Avoided! ❄️🎲

During one of our recent Home Watch inspections, we discovered a homeowner’s AC unit with a frozen compressor. 🚨 Another Reason to Have Home Watcher LV! 🚨

Water was spilling onto the floor and could have caused serious damage if left any longer.

🦇 Bats? Yep—we spotted the signs before things got out of hand! 🏠
While performing a routine Home Watch inspection on the exterior of a Las Vegas home, we noticed something unusual…

🔍 Signs of bats trying to roost!

Here’s what we found—and what you should look out for:

🔹 Guano (bat droppings): Small, dark pellets near the roofline.
🔹 Grease stains: Dark smudges around tiny entry points where bats squeeze in.
🔹 Chirping sounds: High-pitched noises, especially early morning or late evening.
🔹 Evening activity: Bats often fly out from the same spot around sunset.

🦇 What do bats look like?

Small and furry with long, leathery wings

Brown or gray in color

Often hang upside down in tight, dark spaces

👉 The good news? Because of our regular inspection, the issue was caught early—before the bats fully moved in.

✅ Home Watcher LV is your eyes on the ground when you're away. We catch small problems before they become big headaches.

📆 Schedule your home watch service today—we'll help protect your investment year-round.

Why should you use a professional home watcher? - A professional home watch service is much more than an informal drive by or a quick walk through. - A homewatch program is a standardized inspection method specifically designed to be proactive and protect your property. - Imposing on neighbors, friends and family may seem like a good plan, but do they really know what to do? Do they know what to look for? Will they be there consistently? Will they send you an inspection report? and finally, how will you (they) feel if something happens? - Will your home security system detect an odor, an infestation, a noise, a leak, vandalism, burnt occupancy light bulb, a dry drain or toilet? - No property sitter lives in your vacation home, minimal service and utility bills (electrical, gas, water, TV, internet), nothing gets used, abused or broken. - A Home Watcher can not eliminate burglary, vandalism or disasters but a Home Watcher program can sway the odds on your side. - A Professional Home Watcher knows what to do and will keep you informed on the status of your property. - A Home Watch company can return your house to the proper settings to be ready for you when you come back. - And the # 1 reason is: You should enjoy your vacation home or condo instead of worrying about it.
