✨ My Inner Child is Screaming (in the Best Way) ✨
Last night I splurged and went to see the Backstreet Boys — and had no idea it would hit me like this. The show? Unreal. The venue + effects? Flawless. The playlist and memories? Straight out of my childhood diary.

Even better? I got to share it with one of my best friends .audreyxsue ❤️ A true full-circle moment — this was my first concert ever 25 years ago! (Gasp… we’re so old 🤪)

Life gets busy — work, responsibilities, the constant hustle — but nights like this remind me how important it is to make space for fun, friendships, and taking care of me. Honestly? It’s just as important for life and success as any meeting or milestone.

Still smiling from the amazing experience I had last week as a speaker at the Women’s Decision Makers Breakfast 💫

Big thank you to and the for creating such a powerful space and bringing together a room full of strong, inspiring women 🙌🏽

I was honored to share my journey to dentistry and speak on something I’m deeply passionate about: mentorship and the mouth-body connection 🧠🦷❤️

What made it even more special? Getting to share the stage with some of my best friends .audreyxsue .esq — women who lead with purpose and lift each other up 💕

Grateful for the opportunity, the connections, and the energy in that room. More of this, always. ✨

I still can’t believe I’ve been a dentist for 10 years!

From the overwhelmed new grad with big dreams…To actually living out those dreams as a practice owner, mom, mentor, and leader— It’s been a journey of lessons, growing pains, and so much purpose!

Shaun asked me what I wanted for Mother’s Day… and I said, “A photoshoot.” 😂
Because let’s be honest—moms are usually the ones taking the pictures, not in them.

So we made it happen, and I’m so glad we did.
These photos feel like little time capsules of love ❤️

Lately, life’s been busy (when is it not lol), but in the best way—productive, aligned, full.
I feel locked in and genuinely happy.
Working on staying in this flow, staying present, and holding onto this peace 🙏🏾

P.S. I’ve officially asked Shaun to come up with better song titles so I can have more variety to use for my Instagram posts 😜

June has been a whirlwind (honestly, the entire 2025 has been a bit crazy)!

This year, I made a couple of promises to myself to combat burnout:

1️⃣ Don’t say yes just out of obligation. This has been a game-changer for me! Even though I’m still super busy, I’m focusing on saying yes to things that truly fill my cup instead of draining it.

2️⃣ Cut back on working 6 days a week. I’ve honestly been doing well with this, but I had to make an exception in June—working 10 days straight to take off 5 days in New York was totally worth it! 😜

That’s just because I’ve been teaching a lot and also thankful for the opportunity to enrich myself and take a leadership seminar too. Surprisingly, I’ve been feeling great, and I think it goes back to rule #1. It’s hard to complain when I’m doing things I’m excited about! ❤️

Now, I’m heading into another busy stretch as I wrap up my leadership class and cover at one of my partner dental offices while the doc takes a well-deserved vacation. Thankfully the chaos ends with a 3-day weekend to celebrate the 4th of July! 🎆

🔹Fluoride is a naturally-occurring mineral that helps prevent tooth decay in children and adults.
🔹Our body maintains its pH balance around 7, which is neutral.
🔹Acid is bad for your teeth because those cavity causing bacteria thrive in an acidic environment.
🔹The tooth starts to demineralize and break down around a pH of 5.5.
🔹When the tooth decay is superficial in the enamel the tooth still has a chance that it can be remineralized!!
🔹Saliva is neutral so will help neutralize the acid in the mouth.
🔹The right amount of fluoride from water, toothpaste, or dental applications also helps!
🔹In the presence of fluoride, fluoride is incorporated into the enamel to form fluorohydroxyapatite (FAP).
🔹FAP is much harder than the naturally occurring enamel substrate, Hydroxyapatite, and it’s more resistant to acid which helps promote remineralization !
