The Fielding Affect is a simple state of love and compassion. If you have ever felt these feelings and been in this state - even for just a moment - you have achieved it. We endeavor to practice meditation - in everyday life - not just sitting in a lotus position. Our definition of meditation may differ from what most people are use to. Have you ever listened to a piece of music that puts you in a
pure state of ecstasy or just gives you good feelings that you never forget? Meditation is peace in pure consciousness. Everyone has experienced this - even if you can't remember. We can be confident in saying this because we know that our essence is pure consciousness. You might say - who does this? We have our inner and outer worlds to deal with - our personality defects may stop us from being the kind of person we think we should be. And you might believe that the world we live in is anything but conducive to such spiritual living and being. What we are shooting for here, is gaining a simple ability to go "there" anyway. There is no fixing some of the issues we face in our world, the only way to really deal with it is to transcend it - now in the moment. Virtually all of our ancient traditions - at their core have taught us this. We must learn to just stop what we are doing and thinking and even feeling, and just be. Learning to go within to our true and higher self, is absolutely essential to getting to that place we know as "The Kingdom of God Within." This is where Christ exists and it's where we must go to meet Him; it's where Buddha found his nirvana. No one who has gone there, has become humanly perfect first. Transcendence is "moving beyond and upward," it is not fixing or repairing what cannot be fixed. Each person who joins us in their internal journey helps to strengthen all of us as a whole. As Quantum Physicist and Spiritual leader John Hagelin says - to be in a state of pure consciousness - in numbers is to create a state of invincibility for all of us.
