Nevada Medicaid updates are here, and we want our families and clients to stay informed! 💙

📍 Urban Medicaid members: Open Enrollment is Oct 1–Dec 26, 2025 with new plan choices available statewide.

🌄 Rural members: Some will transition to managed care on Jan 1, 2026, while certain groups, such as individuals with disabilities, Katie Beckett, seniors 65+, foster children, and tribal members, will remain on fee-for-service.

All members who switch plans have 90 days to make one additional change.

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Meet Kim! 🌟

With over 30 years of experience, Kim is one of our amazing speech-language pathologists in Las Vegas! 🫶

Kim is a strong proponent of free play therapy, especially during evaluation, and says she is not a fan of standardized testing because it can limit what a child can truly do. She was trained to walk into a case without prior access to the chart, history, diagnosis, or background, focusing first on what she sees in front of her and assessing the deficits present, then reviewing the chart and history to fill in the blanks. She rarely follows a single program start-to-finish, instead adjusting her approach to what the child is or is not doing and employing a variety of strategies to meet each goal. 🙌
