When I was a child, we would wait until "Little Christmas" to take down our tree. My father had an Irish mother, who taught her children the tradition. I still practice that tradition.
However I seldom get to do the other tradition for this date, which is to get together with my female family members and/or friends to share a lunch. I don't do that because they are all working, whereas I have been self-employed & now am retired.
So I am sharing about this tradition with my Facebook friends instead. See the info below.
