Listened to a couplet in a ghazal sang by Chitra. Never listened to this ghazal before

Jagjit Singh once in an interview said that his tenacity in ghazal selection, music composition and singing is that the audience can find their life in every ghazal in some way and this is absolutely true.

Today I wonder where does the negative emotions come from and why God gave them to us when He Himself doesn't have them. I researched, thought and meditated on it and journaled my conclusions in an article. I hope you find it interesting:

I am going to do a "Sometimes I Wonder series" to just capture the random thoughts in my mind. I hope some of you find it , well "interesting :)"

Today I wonder about our fascination for space exploration.

I’ve always been fascinated by the dialogue between Lord Rama and the Ocean God in *Ramcharitmanas*. When Lord Rama requests the Ocean God to calm its waters so he and his army can cross, the Ocean God offers elaborate reasons out of context, symbolizing a depth of knowledge concealed beneath the ocean's surface. In the famous "Samudra Manthan," we see the ocean as a repository of secrets, with gods and demons churning it to reveal precious treasures. These stories, combined with the scientific perspective that life likely began in the ocean, make me think there’s something deeper—perhaps a blueprint for life or the universe itself—hidden beneath the waves.

This idea isn’t exclusive to Hinduism. Ancient texts from other religions also contain references to life emerging from water. The Quran, for example, states in Surah Al-Anbiya (21:30), “We made from water every living thing.” Similarly, the Bible's Book of Genesis describes how the “Spirit of God was hovering over the waters” before the creation of life on Earth. In Jewish Kabbalah, water is seen as the primordial source, a medium through which divine creation begins. All these texts point to water as a foundational element in the emergence of life.

Scientists agree: the theory of evolution suggests that the earliest life forms emerged in the ocean. Water is far more flexible and conducive to chemical reactions than air or dry land, making it an ideal medium for creating life. This convergence of religious and scientific beliefs makes me think that Tulsidas Ji might have been hinting at a deeper truth in *Ramcharitmanas*. It’s not spelled out, but the dialogue suggests that the Ocean God holds knowledge about the universe’s order, the “constitution” of life and creation, hidden in the depths.

Despite this profound mystery, we’ve explored only about 5% of the ocean. Complex factors—geological barriers, electromagnetic anomalies, extreme pressures—limit our access to vast parts of the ocean’s breadth and depth. If life began in the ocean, it’s plausible that secrets of both our origin and our future evolution lie buried there, waiting to be uncovered.

So, why the fascination with going to Mars or beyond? Why aren’t we channeling more of our resources into exploring the ocean, our cradle of life? Perhaps, by “churning” the ocean anew, we might unlock answers to who we are, how we came into existence, and our purpose here on Earth. Maybe, just maybe, the secrets of humanity and the universe lie not in distant planets but in the depths of our own planet, waiting for us to discover them.

The failure of Ekikrit was a humbling experience for me to take a hard look at everything I stood for or believed in in terms of character, spirituality and my relationship and connection with God who beyond doubt really loves me and protects me and takes care of me in all of my ups and downs.

Journaling my take-away have been rewarding to not only the peace and solace that I experienced by getting it off my chest but also the help it continues to provide to rebuild character, grit, resilience, humility and gratitude but most importantly to redefine the goal of life to be like Lord Rama to have an opportunity to become ONE with him and stop seeking external validation for self worth. And the way to be like him is to embrace kindness and compassion in all situations specially in the moments when negative emotions like anger, resentment, retaliation, ego, arrogance or stress is prevailing.

Coming out of silence, Dolly and I have decided to give our marriage another try. Ekikrit is probably on permanent pause due to the amazing support that, I had from fraternity, but lost because of my own instability and actions. But Lord Rama has showered his blessing and delivered unimaginable and unthinkable to me. May he continue to shower his kindness on this family and who knows what could happen eventually!!

Due to personal reasons, Ekikrit is on pause right now with a strong possibility of never launching. It is sad and heartbreaking for me as I gave it my heart, soul, and everything. It truly was the masterpiece of my carer in terms of the idea, architecture, design, and flow. We had done the demo to 100+ modern medicine and Ayurveda doctors and they all were ready and on board to work with us. I was particularly proud of how I defined various indexes to generate more appointments focused on revenue for the doctors and proactive healthcare for users AND how I had designed with the insurance industry experts the solution to provide evidence of preventive medicine's effect on users to claim the incentive-based payouts.

The story of HRV, ECG, wearables, journal entries, diet and lifestyle and therapy compliance tracking, and the custom algorithms designed by me and my respected dad to track the effectiveness of medicine when tracking chronic conditions and risk scores when tracking predispositions was very novel and innovative and it followed the principles used in the cybersecurity risk frameworks and observability platforms. The secret sauce was all in defining and tracking the numbers using statistical algorithms. The MVP was going to have only preview and the statistical equations for the preventive medicine were all ready to start getting developed.

If there is anyone who wants to take these forward, I am absolutely willing to discuss all of my ideas so that humanity can benefit from these and the doctors, integrative medicine, preventive medicine and users can all be successful without expecting anything in return. At this time, money is not important at all. I strongly believe that God gave me an amazing opportunity to get attracted to Ayurveda and Yoga and how that inspiration transformed in making integrative and preventive medicine help people live up to their full potential and take custody of doctor's entrepreneurial goals enabling them to perform their healing duties. It is God's plan and the effort with or without me must continue and see the light at the end of the day.

I am also thinking about learning all the involved technology and with time, as I gain more stability and better mental health comes in this new life, I will finish all the coding of Ekikrit and donate it to AYUSH ministry and WHO as I am humbled by and blessed with the people in those fields known to me.

I specifically want to wish LYBL, Ayurythm, Nadi Taringini and Bala Pasala and others involved in this field ( I got a call from another founder Ankur Rustogi lately) great luck as they are one of the best in terms of being able to realize the dream that I had seen.

The last few days of working for Ekikrit were somber and humbling but God was kind enough to finally give me the opportunity to do the last demo of the end to end solution in a 90 minutes demo to Esteemed Dr K. K. Deepak, the retired HOD of physiology from AIIMS Delhi and he was very impressed and endorsed the preventive ideas and algorithms very much. I will focus on cherishing the sweet memories of the team we built and the endorsements and attention we got. Not all dreams come true but you must thank the higher powers for giving you the opportunity to dare to see a dream and get the kind of attention we got.

I am excited to continue to work on bouncing back and returning to a new personal and professional life and about going back to my roots - get CISSP and CISM certification ( they have been long pending) , get more hands-on experience in coding and using cybersecurity and observability products as my future will be in those fields. I spend time these days on my mental health and learning hands-on spring-boot and GenAI. Learning is very therapeutic, humbling and gratifying.
