This staggering statistic highlights the importance of ensuring that children are using the appropriate car seat and that it is correctly installed inside the vehicle.

The South Central Emergency Department encourages you to practice car seat safety to keep your children protected.

When it comes to managing psychiatric conditions, medications play a large role in helping the patient. They are not, however, the only way in which the team at South Central Behavioral Health can help.

"We as a group try to help a person," Dr. Amandeep Singh, MD, said. "I can't change a person's stressors with medications, and I can't change their coping skills just with medication alone. That's when the therapists come into play."
