Today we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. A reminder that service, advocacy, and standing up for what’s right are all forms of love in action.

As a doula and community advocate, this day hits home for me. The work I do is rooted in ensuring mothers are heard, respected, and supported especially in spaces where their voices have too often been overlooked.

May we continue to show up, speak up, serve with intention, and create the change our communities deserve.
