THE MISSION STATEMENT of SURVIVOR SQUAD:

IT IS THE MISSION OF THE SURVIVOR SQUAD TO HELP ALL PEOPLE IN ACTIVE ADDICTION TO FIND A PLACE FOR TREATMENT AND CONTINUED SUPPORT IN THEIR RECOVERY. THE SURVIVOR SQUAD IS MADE UP OF MEMBERS THAT ARE ADDICTS IN RECOVERY, LOVED ONES OF ADDICTS, AND THOSE AFFECTED BY ADDICTION WHO WANT TO HELP THOSE IN ACTIVE ADDICTION SEEK HELP. IT IS ALSO THE MISSION OF THE SURVIVOR SQUAD TO WORK WITHIN THE COMMUNITY DOING COMMUNITY SERVICE, RAISING MONEY FOR THOSE LESS FORTUNATE, AND GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY THEY ONCE TOOK FROM WHILE ACTIVE IN THEIR ADDICTION. LASTLY, THE SURVIVOR SQUAD WANTS TO HELP END THE STIGMA OF ADDICTION AND HELP BRING AWARENESS TO THE COMMUNITY OF SIGNS OF ADDICTION AND WAYS IN WHICH TO HELP LOVED ONES WHO MAY BE ACTIVE IN ADDICTION . THE SURVIVOR SQUAD WANTS TO BE A RESOURCE FOR FAMILIES TO REACH OUT TO FIND TREATMENT FACILITIES, TO MENTOR, TO SPONSOR, AND TO PRAY FOR THEIR LOVED ONES. THE SURVIVOR SQUAD IS A SOURCE OF HOPE FOR ALL THAT THERE IS LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS AND PEOPLE CAN AND DO RECOVER!

Overdose awareness is Aug 31st. Survivor Squad will be hosting Light up the courthouse on Aug 26th at 6pm. if you have lost a loved one from addiction we ask you send a picture of your loved ones to survivorsquadky@gmail.com by no later than Aug 12th.

we often fail to Realize the dangers everyday our law enforcement and emt face when they go to a scene they dont know 100 percent what is there waiting. so for all the ones we have lost serving and protecting we are going to hold the Softball game June 3rd in honor for our brothers/sisters 💙🖤🤍 so please come out to the Alton Ballfield on June 3rd starting at 3 pm for Survivor Squad bs Police/EMT game and after wards co****le tournment.
*We will also have a donation jug for the family of Caleb Conley the officer we lost today .
