Let me post these before y’all start your Super Bowl festivities. So today is my youngest daughter Alena’s 16th Birthday, and we hosted her Sweet 16 Birthday Celebration yesterday. So this is the cake she requested (from top to bottom):
Key Lime Pleasure with Vanilla buttercream covered in vanilla fondant; Strawberry Succulence cake filled strawberry filling covered in gold fondant and pearl candies; and Chocolate Silk cake filled with Chocolate Ganache, covered in Black Cocoa buttercream and then decorated with black fondant ruffles. A special thank you to Jen for doing our charcuterie display- we all loved and are still enjoying it! A special thank you to my oldest for helping me hand-create the fondant ruffles and her husband helping me get the cakes to the venue. A wonderful celebration with a wonderful group of friends.

Works done last week and yesterday:
1. Strawberry Succulence cupcakes for a repeat Client; and
2. A half & half 🤍 cake for a repeat Client’s sister! I did a cake a few weeks ago for her friend (that happened to be a policewoman-so cool!👮🏾😍), but this cake was for her sister, and we happen to have the same birthdate! She wanted 1-layer of Red Royalty and one layer of Butter Lovers heart-shaped cake with Black cocoa and white vanilla buttercream frosting on it.
3. As for my birthday cake🎂, I just made a little extra Butter Lovers cake and instead of frosting, made Semi-Sweet & Milk Chocolate ganache to fill and cover the cake. It is delicious! It’s nice to eat what my Clients get for a change!

I know I usually put up a Funny Monday but not today. I need y’all to either listen or watch this. I care for you too much to keep silent.
