Most knee pain doesn’t start at the knee 👇

It starts at the feet.

If you don’t fix the foundation, the problem keeps coming back.

Most people think their knee pain starts at the knee…

👉 But what if it actually starts at your feet?

Today I’m walking through my Elev8 Alignment Assessment—a process I use to figure out what’s really going on from the ground up.

Because when your feet aren’t doing what they’re supposed to do:

* Your knees take the hit
* Your hips start compensating
* Your back starts working overtime

And that’s when simple things like:
🚶🏾‍♂️ Walking
🪑 Getting out of a chair
⬆️ Going up stairs

…start to become a problem.

In this video, I’m working with one of my clients as we go through part of this process (don’t worry—we’re keeping things private while still showing you how it works).

This is about more than pain…

👉 It’s about understanding your body so you can move better in real life.

If you’ve been dealing with knee pain (or anything that just doesn’t feel right when you move), let’s figure it out.

Build hip strength and knee stability with this lateral movement drill. 🔥

As strength improves, exercises can become more dynamic.

Sidestepping is a great way to improve hip strength, knee stability, and balance.

The slight rotational force created during this movement helps train the knee to stay stable while the body moves in different directions.

Exercises like this can be helpful for individuals returning to sports or higher level activities.

Strong hips and stable knees are key to maintaining healthy movement.

If you’re looking to improve strength, mobility, or knee health, Elev8 Movement provides mobile physical therapy services that come directly to you.

Standing up requires more than just your legs. Train your body to work together. 💪

03/30/2026

Standing up from a chair requires several muscle groups working together.

Your legs are important, but your arms, shoulders, and core also play a role.

This exercise, called a chair push-up, helps activate those muscles to assist the standing movement.

Even though the upper body does a lot of the work, keeping your feet planted and pressing through your heels helps activate your legs as well.

Training the body to work together can make everyday movements like standing much easier.

If you’re dealing with pain or mobility limitations, Elev8 Movement provides mobile physical therapy services that come directly to you.
