"The Return to the origin in 9 days is a retreat to purify the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body. Performing a work that allows us to be a better person, releasing all the baggage of the 7 generations of ancestors and at the same time clearing the future of 7 generations to come.
It is a spiritual work in which you will purify your being and the territory where you come from. The work consists of making “pagamento” (name with which is called an energetic offering for receiving spiritual benefits), or payment to create and feed the spirits of nature and the universe."
In 1992 Mamo Lorenzo receives the direction of his elders to carry out part of his life mission: To search for and gather the Elders of the 9 snow-capped peaks of Colombia for the healing of the territories.
In 2008, he began the search for Sabedoras and Sabedores, reaching the city of Bogota, Colombia, achieving in 2009 the first National Meeting of Spiritual Authorities of Colombia in Pasto, Nariño, southern Colombia, where the message for all was: the difference makes the complement between peoples and the union of knowledge contributes to the healing of Mother Earth.
In 2009, he joined the world ceremony Roots of the Earth, an event that travels through different countries lighting the fire of the Kiva “the heart of the earth” for the unity of the native peoples; here Mamo Lorenzo was appointed Member of the Council of Elders of America.
In 2011 a second meeting of Roots of the Earth was held, where the Spiritual Authorities of Colombia, wrote the nine mandates of the native peoples, respecting the cultural principles of each territory and highlighting its objective: Sistering trust.
Parallel to this process, Mamo Lorenzo began his mission helping Mother Seunniunhachun “The spirit, navel of the womb of the earth” with the Muisca people, located in Bogota.
For 7 years Mamo Lorenzo Izquierdo Arroyo has been living in the Pomarrosal farm, Acuapal village in Sasaima, Cundinamarca, where Mother Seunniunhachun has been living for the 7 years.
Currently and since 2017, Mamo Lorenzo has guided the Returning to the Origin in 9 days retreat, opening the doors of his home and with the support of the Panche indigenous community for humanity, performing spiritual work that strengthens the individual and collective connection and gratitude with Mother Earth.
