All day, every day on FB I see friends and family posting about illnesses, stress, injuries and all the meds they are taking, and that they aren't getting better fast enough. We live in a world full of toxins, germs and other contributors to the degradation of our bodies and minds. It makes me so sad to see the reliance on pills that only suppress and mask the symptoms, and that we turn to a chemical to fix or clean every little problem. There is a better way! Embrace the power God placed in each of us and walk in strength with your outward lives, and care for yourself with proper nutrition, downtime, and self care!
My wonderful and brilliant friend posted this on her FB page and I wanted to share this thought as we start today. "Whether intentional or not, we now have a society with systems that are symbiotic with each other, at the expense of those who actually fund those systems. The pharmaceutical industry develops medicines by isolating singular components of healing matter. Why? Because you cannot patent an herb, but you can patent a component of that herb. In doing so, we have benefited from healing results from those patents, but with a cost. The very bacteria they are utilized to treat, are able to become resistant to a simple molecular structure. (The whole of the components in herbs, plants or essential oils distilled from them are much more complex and virtually impossible for the bacteria to mutate and become resistant). Take this further, as the bacteria become resistant, more research and new drugs are developed, thus funding that industry. Additionally, more doctor visits are required, thus funding that industry. And as is generally known, the failures of various medical treatments leads to litigation, thus funding the legal industry. So, basically the pharmaceutical, medical and legal industries all exist in a symbiotic (despite the appearance to the contrary) relationship."
Shared by my friend, DPR (not posting her full name to respect her privacy). PROFOUND THOUGHT! We broke those chains and live a free life. Have you?
