Three years ago we started what has become a very worthwhile tradition at Kauffman's Animal Health. Each Christmas we ask our employees to donate to a charitable organization and then Kauffman's matches the donation amounts. Employees are free to donate to the charity of their choice, but we offer three suggestions. This year's suggestions were: Wounded Warrior Project (cash), Penn State Children's Hospital (cash), Lebanon County Humane Society (pet supplies and/or cash). We revealed the totals at our Christmas Luncheon yesterday and I had the privilege this afternoon of submitting the company match to Wounded Warrior (post below). All tolled contributions to all three charities exceeded $900. Including the match dollars our employees were responsible for over $1,800 in donations. Excellent work for a relatively small number of employees! Thank you all for your support of this program and Merry Christmas!

Our original pellet mill was installed in 1978 in our old building by Light’s Welding then moved to our current location in January of 2000 by Light’s.
This week we had a completely refurbished (by Andritz in Muncy, PA) replacement pellet mill installed by Light's Welding.

Kauffman's Animal Health, Inc. is a family business that manufactures, packages and ships animal nutrition products including premixes, supplements and ingredients. Our company was founded in 1978 by Leon J. Kauffman and has grown over the years to become a preferred supplier for feed manufacturers and private label supplement marketing firms.

We manufacture nutritional supplements for poultry, livestock, horses and pets, as well as premixes that can be used by feed manufacturers in their own products.
Our company is currently owned and operated by Tom and Dave Kauffman, with help from their father Leon, the founder of the company. Our company currently employs 15-20 employees, including members of the Kauffman family.

Our focus is on providing supplements and premixes that aid livestock producers and pet parents in keeping their animals in the best state of health.

After over 40 years, you can trust we know the business we’re in. All products are manufactured in our state-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility. We also understand and continue to research the animals we feed, enabling us to create the best-quality products with a perfect balance of premium ingredients. This is how we have built strong relationships in the animal feed and supplement niche over the years.
