Celebrating life is the most precious moment.

Respect for life month, is celebrating from conception to death. In October, the Catholic Church in the United States celebrates Respect Life Month, and the first Sunday of October is designated as Respect Life Sunday.

We are called to cherish, defend, and protect those who are most vulnerable, from the beginning of life to its end, and at every point in between.

Yesterday was a wonderful day shower a new mom as she awaits the arrival of her baby girl!

What a privilege it was to have the opportunity to be present for the Going Beyond live event this past weekend.

A small handful of staff and volunteers were able to attend. We wished the rest could have been there to enjoy this wonderful opportunity. However, they couldn’t as some came down with illnesses and other’s had circumstances that prevented them from attending.

We lift them up in our prayers.

Ms Christi (left) is a volunteer who assist in shift coverage when her schedule allows. She pours so much into the residents from her own experiences she had to journey through in life.

Ms Michelle (center) is our Program Director, and has put all her heart and soul into getting this ministry open again since July 2022. There is no distance too far for her to travel to be obedient, and to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Ms Karen (right), comes in on Friday’s and assists with receptionist responsibilities, and loves on the women and babies. She speaks God’s word, and gives assurance to the moms and babies. Ms Karen doesn’t miss an opportunity to hold a baby so a mother can complete a task.

If you knew their (the women pictured) testimonies, you’d know they’re own circumstances have helped every woman who reside as a resident here at Home For Life. A testimony that shows if the staff and volunteers can make it, they as a resident can make it too!

Each of us have a learning experience through our trials and tribulations that serve to help others who cross our paths. There is so much to gain from our trials and tribulations, so don’t lose heart!

Just a snippet of the refilling staff and volunteers were gifted today; we’re truly blessed, and had so much poured into us. We can’t wait to share and help the residents to continue to go forward in having a stable life journey.

If you would like to be a monthly sponsor to our moms and babies, you can set up monthly giving or a one to monetary donation through our website.

Simply click on the link, select the underlined words, “online giving”, it will take you to our church giving page. Once there, select, “tithe & offering”. It will bring up a scroll browser, and you can then select, “Missions - Home For Life”.

In August, Home For Life was contacted by Mrs Tammy, Event Coordinator for Lifeway Women. She reached out about the Going Beyond Live with Priscilla Shirer and worship by her brother, Anthony Evans, coming to Cincinnati.

For every live event that Lifeway has, she and others on the team pray and ask for the Lord’s direction in selecting one local ministry that their attendees can bless with tangible donated items. Home For Life was one of the nominees selected for consideration. To help aide in their prayer for the right organization to bless, we submitted our response to their questions. We later learned that we weren’t selected but another ministry was. Every ministry who was selected was blessed to receive complimentary tickets.

This was a perfect way to honor Home For Life’s staff and volunteers to be blessed for all their faithfulness in pouring life into the moms and babies. The volunteers and staff deserved this treat of appreciation today. Thank you Tammy for the blessing, and thank you staff and volunteers for all that you do!

Last Thursday, Pastor Darlene Bishop, received a call from Lewis Street Praise and Worship Center in Middletown, Ohio, asking if we would be able to help assist in donating items for those affected by Hurricane Helen. Home For Life was eager to go through our supplies immediately, donating toothbrushes, toothpaste, diapers, formula, baby clothes, baby items, women’s clothing, and other supplies. They came yesterday to receive our donation, there was so much, it packed the back of the pickup truck. They have a semi truck that will be transporting all the donations at the end of the week. We pray for safe traveling mercy’s, and those receiving the supplies to be blessed.

We are so grateful to be blessed to bless others!

Last night Staff and Volunteers were blessed by “Her Plan”, a Pregnancy & Life Assistance Network.

Home For Life is here to help you overcome your past and transform into a stable life journey.

In order for a caterpillar 🐛 to become a butterfly 🦋, it had to be in a cocoon then press THROUGH (from one side of the thing to the other side) the cocoon to get the muck off and fly freely! If the butterfly doesn’t push THROUGH the cocoon on its own, then it will never fly. Here at the Home, we desire staff and volunteers to help residents push THROUGH their “cocoon”, releasing all the past off, and using it for their testimony of an overcomer!
